PLAY: INDIANA
RATING: DOUBLE DIME PLAY
The Pistons return home off of a good looking loss last in Brooklyn losing 107-105. That was actually their 3rd close loss in a row. As they have lost their last 3 games all by 7 points or less. Off of those close losses one would think they are prime to pull the mild upset seeing how they are a small home dog. My thoughts are just the opposite as after playing their guts out again for a 3rd straight game only to come up short I feel their emotional tank has to be empty. Indiana on the other hand is coming back to back home wins and now takes the momentum out on the road. Indiana is 8-4 their last 12 games with the 4 losses coming against Oklahoma City , Denver, Golden St and San Antonio. That's 2 really good teams in OKC and the Spurs and Golden St is red hot right now. We are getting a cheap number here because of Detroit's close games. Indiana's defense held their last 2 opponents to 43 & 33% shooting. I have Indiana winning this game by 5-7 points.
