[actually I only play the power sweep and yes, that was very good. Go look for yourself if you don't believe me. The biggest player were UK and BYU. UK ended up winning easy and BYU was a cigar game. I won big today thank you very much.

QUOTE=Stonewall;8284149]Hey Wedgy ... That's why they play the games!!!

It sucks if you played all of Pimp Steele's (aka Northcoast) selections, as he goes 3-4 for -3.3 units. You can hear the crying and self promotion tomorrow on his 10-minute free pick line. By the way, did I mention he charges $3000 for his full season?

You guys have to lay off the marketing Kool Aid and look at the actual records of these services via The Sports Monitor or Sports-Watch. If you cannot find Pimp Steele if the former, it means that he is having a losing campaign.[/QUOTE]

Although I played Kentucky and won, overall if anyone played all of NC's plays today, he/she lost.
While his PowerSweep did win today, overall for the season the top plays are below 500 and the newsletter has been mediocre.
With a zillion different sets of picks, clubs, newsletters, etc. to talk about, it is not very difficult through his flunky Ralphie on the comp. phone to say they had a winning day.
My five years of running the various NC Threads at another forum have convinced me that Phil is a brilliant marketeer, but in reality he is full of spins, deceptions, half truths, omissions, etc. about his record with the attempt being to portray the OVERALL service a lot better than it really is.

Guaranteed Pick: John Ryan

Game: New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers Nov 14 2010 8:20PM
Prediction: New England Patriots
Reason: 25* graded play on New England as they take on Pittsburgh set to start on Sunday Night Football at 8:20 EST. My proprietary sports handicapping model and simulator shows a high probability that New England will lose this game by fewer than four points and has an excellent opportunity to win this game. Supporting this graded play is a system that has produced a record of 41-11 ATS for 79% winners since 2005. Play on road teams off a road loss in November games. Simple and makes a ton of money too. This system has posted a 25-3 ATS record for 89% winners spanning the past three seasons. New England is a solid 17-5 ATS in road games facing excellent passing teams averaging 7.5 or more passing yards/att. since 1992; 27-11 ATS (+14.9 Units) vs. good passing teams averaging 7 or more passing yards/attempt in the second half of the season since 1992. NE is 9-4 ATS against the Steelers since 1992 and in games played in Pittsburgh NE is a solid 6-2 ATS. Take the Patriots.
