THE WINNING ADDICT
PREMIUM #1:
Philadelphia Phillies -200 (Risk 8 units to win 4 units) 8:05 P.M. EST
Roy Halladay has won 10 straight starters, and while many will say he is due for a loss (which he obviously eventually is), I just can't see that loss coming tonight. We have gone against Rodrigo Lopez and we've had a ton of success doing it. The Phillies are playing good baseball, as always, and they just took 2 of 3 from New York on the road. The Phils will keep on rolling tonight, as Roy Halladay will give the bullpen a night off going deep into the game, and the Phils will score enough off Lopez to give the Doctor some breathing room, and while this is a disgusting price that I can't stand to look at--it's a winner. Win 4 units.
PREMIUM #2:
Atlanta Braves +112 (Risk 3 units to win 3.36 units) 8:40 P.M. EST
The more I look at this game the more I like it. Derek Lowe is not special, but he always keeps his team in the game and gives them a chance to win. Jason Hammel cannot say the same thing, and while the Rockies are traditionally one of the better home teams in baseball, they aren't hitting the ball extremely well right now, and I just like the spot that Lowe is in. Atlanta is hitting the ball well, feeling good, and still can see Philly ahead of them and they are very much in reach, which is why I feel good about laying a heavy price with Philly. Take Atlanta who will get a solid outing from Lowe tonight and win the plus money for the 3 units.
