The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

Pick 'n' Roll

Monday's Best NBA Bet

Orlando Magic at Cleveland Cavaliers (11,194)

Orlando coach Stan Van Gundy is pretty happy with his team’s play recently. The Magic have won three of the last four, limiting their opposition to fewer than 90 points in all three of those victories.

Orlando’s defense came up big and Jameer Nelson hit a trey at the buzzer to help the club to an 85-82 win over Denver on Friday.

"When you have things happen you're just able to persevere and grind it out or pull it out, no matter how you get it it's always good to show some resiliency in your team," swingman Jason Richardson told reporters after Orlando shot just 35.9 percent in the win.

Orlando may be winning, but that poor shooting is a major reason why Magic bettors have cashed in only twice over the last 10 games. This could be the game Orlando puts it all together.

Monday's Best NCAA Bet

New Mexico at Alabama (-4.5, 128.5)

The Alabama Crimson Tide may be without one of their top players off the bench for a second straight game when they hook up with New Mexico in the NIT on Monday.

Sophomore forward Andrew Steele suffered a concussion in the SEC Tournament and sat out Alabama’s blowout of Coastal Carolina. He’s considered questionable for Monday’s game.

Steele’s numbers aren’t outstanding – five points and 2.6 rebounds over about 18 minutes per game – but he brings a lot more to the table for this Tide team, which was just 6-6 straight up while he was hurt this year and 16-5 after he came back.

"Andrew plays a big part in a leadership role," Alabama freshman point guard Trevor Releford told reporters of Steele. "He's like a coach on the floor. We're going to need him to get to the championship."

We’ll side with the Tide here but would feel a lot better about the bet if Steele plays.

Monday's Best NHL Bets

Pittsburgh Penguins at Detroit Red Wings (N/A)

The Detroit Red Wings are easily one of the NHL’s deepest teams and they’ve needed that depth during a recent rash of injuries.

They dropped a 3-1 decision at Nashville on Saturday as they dressed just 17 skaters, including only 11 forwards. The loss snapped Detroit’s four-game winning streak but the team could have a longer bench on Monday.

Pittsburgh held a 2-1 lead midway through the third period before the Rangers struck twice in 11 seconds on their way to a 5-2 victory. It was only Pittsburgh’s second loss in six games and now the club could be without Matt Cooke, who picked up a five-minute major for elbowing and a game misconduct. Considering his rap sheet, he should expect a call from the league.

"I don't think you can talk about eliminating head shots from the game, as we have as an organization, and not expect (Cooke's hit) to be examined," Pittsburgh coach Dan Bylsma said. "It's what looks to be a contact right to the head on the play, so the league will look at that and treat it as such."

Look for this one to be a close-checking game with a playoff atmosphere.

PICK: Under

Calgary Flames at Los Angeles Kings (-170, 5)

The Los Angeles Kings look poised to head to the postseason after going on a nice run over the past two months. They don’t have many problems with defense and goaltending but will need some secondary scoring as they try to hold off a number of teams surging for playoff spots.

Jarret Stoll, Ryan Smyth and captain Dustin Brown make up their second line at the moment and the team is expecting a lot more out of the trio. Smyth has just one goal in his last 22 games and Brown and Stoll haven’t been much better lately.

"The expectations are, this is the time to be a veteran player," coach Terry Murray told reporters. "This is the critical time of the year. Everything is on the line, and this is where you need your veteran players to shoulder a big part of the responsibility. They know how to play, in this time of the year. “

There’s too much talent on that second line for it to keep sputtering much longer.

Monday's Betting Tips: Boozer's Back For Bulls

Who's Hot

NBA: Cleveland has played under in four straight games and six of its last seven.

NBA: Denver has covered in six of its last seven matchups with the Toronto Raptors.

NCAAB: The under has cashed in on six straight Oklahoma State games.

NHL: The Detroit Red Wings have played under in seven of their last 10.

Who’s Not

NBA: Orlando has covered just twice over the last 10 games.

NBA: Memphis is just 3-10 against the spread in its last 13 dates with Utah.

NBA: New Jersey is just 1-9 ATS in its last 10 games against Indiana.

NCAAB: Duquesne has covered just twice over the last 10 games.

NHL: Los Angeles has won only nine of its last 35 meetings with the Calgary Flames.

Key Stat

12 – The Alabama Crimson Tide has covered in the number in 12 of their last 14 home games heading into Monday’s home game against New Mexico Lobos. Top-seeded Alabama is coming off a blowout victory over Costal Carolina in the first round of the NIT, while the Lobos downed UTEP 69-57 as a 6.5-point favorite. The Tide are 15-6 ATS in their last 21 games overall and are pegged as a 4.5-point favorite for Monday’s game.

Injury That Shouldn’t Be Overlooked

Deron Williams, New Jersey Nets: Williams is expected to sit out three more games with his right wrist injury in hopes that after that he’ll be able to play in the team’s last dozen games. Doctors told Williams that he likely won’t need surgery and that rest alone should be enough to get him back in the lineup. The big question is whether sitting out three games will be enough or if the team may have to shut him down for the rest of the season. New Jersey hosts the Indiana Pacers as a 1.5-point underdog on Monday.

Game Of The Day

Boston Celtics at New York Knicks (N/A)

Notable Quotable

"I think everybody wants an ideal situation where it's all campfires and singing and all that, but it's just not going to be that way," New York Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni told reporters about rumoured friction between Carmelo Anthony and some of his teammates. "We have a lot of high stakes right now, and as you see there's people that want to getcha. Again, it's nothing bad, that's just the way it is.”

Tips And Notes

The Chicago Bulls are expected to welcome Carlos Boozer back to the lineup Monday when the club hosts the Sacramento Kings on Monday. Boozer has missed the last five games with a left ankle sprain, though Chicago didn’t seem to miss him much, going 4-1 against the spread over that span. Boozer averages 18.3 points and 9.6 rebounds per game this season.

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Matt Cooke was ejected from Sunday’s loss to the New York Rangers after being assessed a five-minute major and a game misconduct for elbowing Ryan McDonagh. Considering Cooke’s history with suspensions and the league’s recent stand on head shots, he could face a stiff suspension. Cook has 12 goals, 30 points and 114 penalty minutes this season. The Penguins, who are already shorthanded without Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin up front, face off against the Detroit Red Wings on Monday.

These don't go until Thursday but they just got played so I figured I'd post as early as possible. Both games are HYDRAS (4 units). They are 1-0 on HYDRAS in the tourney. TOP plays (2 units) are 4-4 in the tourney so far. REGULAR plays (1 unit) are 6-8. Overall, a tiny profit so far. HYDRAS have a very good track record, and a DOUBLE-HYDRA sounds like a Godzilla movie. Good Luck!
