LA Clippers PK over SACRAMENTO KINGS, 10 dimes
I'm never much of a fan of backing the Clips on the road, but both of the teams in this matchup are cold as ice, and something has to give. The Kings are mired in a five game home losing streak, while going 1-5 SU and ATS in their last 6 overall. The Clippers haven't been doing much better either, with the teams only recent brightspot being Blake Griffin's mediocre over the car dunk to win him the Slam Dunk Contest. But with the Kings battling injuries, most notably to Tyreke Evans, the Clippers have a great shot of taking this game to the bank. New acquistions Jamario Moon and Mo Williams should add some fresh new blood in the locker room, and send LA into this game with a new level of excitement. Randy Foye and Blake Griffin continue to pile up the stats, and I can't see the Kings having an answer.
Phoenix Suns -2 over NEW JERSEY NETS, 10 dimes
Could we ask for a better line for this game? The Suns are cruising along, going 9-4 ATS in their last 13 and 3-0 ATS and SU in their last 3. They come into New Jersey tonight with their blistering offense, which is averaging over 105 points per game. The Nets are in no position to stop this onslaught. Jersey has dropped 4 out of it's last 5 home games both SU and ATS, while the Suns have covered in their last 4 away games. The Nets also has only won once in the last 9 meetings between these two clubs.
NOTRE DAME FIGHTING IRISH -4.5 over Villanova Wildcats, 10 dimes
This situation is heavily in favor of the home team. Not only is Notre Dame better than Villanova, they should enter this game as the more focused team. Coach Mike Brey is not the silent type, and he's certainly not letting his team forget how they need to play with intensity and disclipine to nip at the heels of the Pitt Panthers, who currently lead the Big East by one game. The are hosting a Nova team that has only covered the number in 1 out of their last 9 games! Notre Dame meanwhile, has covered in 7 out of their last 10 games overall, and are crushing the number at home with a 9-4 ATS clip in this category. While these teams are equal in many respects, Notre Dame is the team that shares the ball better, and also gives up fewer turnovers. Let's watch the Irish win this one comfortably and stay in the hunt for the Big East regular season championship.
