We have seen it so many times. The cure for an underachieving team is a game against their hated rival. Kansas State was picked by many to win the Big 12. They have the talent to justify it.
They have not met expectations, but this is the scenario where teams like K State rally around and regroup time and time again.
The low point of the season was getting their heads handed to them at Kansas. This is truly a circled game for them.
Don’t underestimate how big the loss of Thomas Robinson is to the Jayhawks. Kansas has been fortunate this year avoiding injuries, but this is a serious test for their chemistry.
