Is it all that improbable to think OKC could not cover this spread? This team is catching 9.5 points at home to Phoenix after they lost to them at home by just 1 point last time around 98-99. Note, that Phoenix does come off a 1 point loss to the Spurs at home so they are not in a good mood necessarily but this is the same team that has lost its last 4 contests on the road while OKC has covered 6 of their last 8. OKC has quietly gone unnoticed during this ATS streak as folks just see their 3-28 SU record. But, what they fail to see is the fact with a new coach, this team is working hard and consistently and sports an 18-13 ATS streak while Phoenix sports a 11-16 ATS streak. Phoenix is the public team. In fact, they are favored by the public over 70% today. We have the dog. We have the home dog. On top of all that, we have a home dog with revenge who lost to this team by just 1 point last time around and who comes off a fourth quarter collapse so they will be itching to play again. Don't forget OKC defeated the Raptors at home outright as 6 point dogs and won by 8, covered against the Cavs at home, covered against the Hawks on the road and covered against the Pistons on the road as well losing by just a bucket. We'll take the 9.5 with the dog, the home dog, the home dog with revenge, the home dog with revenge fading the public and the home dog with revenge fading the public with the team that has been better with the ATS factors of late.
CBB (Pod) 4 Unit Play. #756. Take Niagara -5 over Murray State (Monday @ 6pm Eastern). I was doing the research on the college basketball card and came across Hawaii as a possibility over George Washington as that is a home game for Hawaii and they had defeated the likes of Iowa State at before that, but thought that is going to be a battle back and forth against GW. Then, I came across my favorite team of the 2008-2009 season as they have a game today against Murray State. These two teams have no recent meetings. This game is on neutral footing in Chattanooga, Tennessee and goes off at 6pm eastern. Thus, the crowd will not be a factor and even if it is, it doesn't matter. I was on Niagara went they went to St. Bonny as a small 2 to 3 point chalk and they ended up winning by 18. This team is 9-1 ATS. They are 9-2 on the season and their only two losses come to Villanova (which they covered) and Akron at home. This team has gone on the road as mentioned to beat St. Bonny by 18, Drexel by 5 on the road, South Florida by 15 on the road, Loyola Maryland by 16 on the road and Buffalo by 4 on the road. This team is bringing back talent and senior leadership and I will gladly take them as a point chalk here on not even a "road" floor but a neutral floor. I am not taking anything away from Murray State as the Racers are a good team. But, remember, just to give you an example that the Racers might not be as in sync as Niagara, the Racers lost to South Florida on a neutral floor 64-73. Take this with the fact that Niagara went on the road to South Florida and beat them by 15. I'll lay the points here with Niagara to win by 10-12 against the Racers in Chattanooga. Besides, Niagara is averaging 76ppg against as tough or even tougher competition than Murray State who is only averaging 60.5 ppg. Niagara will be a tough match here for Murray State.
Good luck,
Had rutgers and NW in the bowls
