My 40 Dime selection is Navy over Pitt.
The current line on this game is -3 in Vegas and offshore.
If your line is -2 1/2 to -4 you buy the 1/2 point down. Be sure to shop around for the best line available.

Matchup: Cleveland Cavaliers (19-9) @ Phoenix Suns (12-20) +8.5 202
Gametime: 9:05pm (ET)

The Cleveland Cavaliers will travel 636 miles to face the Phoenix Suns in Phoenix, AZ. The is the 3rd straight road game for the Cavs who are coming into this game off back-to-back losses, and their last 4 games have all gone under the total. The Phoenix Suns haven’t done much better as they come into this matchup on a 4 game losing streak. This will be their 3rd straight home game and the betting public will most likely not be looking to back them as they are coming off of a home a loss to the Philadelphia 76ers as double-digit favorites. This was only the 2nd win the 76ers had in the entire season and the betting public is certainly aware of that.

ATS Betting Trends
•The Cavs are 12-16 Overall, 6-8 in Road games, and 3-2 in their last 5 games.
•The Suns are 13-19 Overall, 7-10 in Home games, and 1-4 in their last 5 games.
•The Phoenix Suns have covered the point spread in 4 of the last 5 meetings

Over/Under Betting Trends
•The Cavs are 13-15 Overall, 5-9 in Road games, and 1-4 in their last 5 games.
•The Suns are 17-15 Overall, 8-9 in Home games, and 2-3 in their last 5 games.
•4 of the last 5 meetings have gone Under the Total

The Cavs have an average scoring margin of +4.6, which ranks 4th in the NBA, and the Suns have an average scoring margin of -1.7, which ranks 20th in the NBA. The Cavs have an effective field goal percentage of 50.4% while the Suns have an effective field goal percentage of 50.4%.

Pick - Phoenix Suns +8.5

We'll get to add one more team to those that are going to the playoffs with a loss in week 16. Carolina, New England, Pittsburgh, Green Bay and Seattle all made tonight's game more interesting. Denver has not even clinched the AFC West title and with the Patriots loss, the Bengals still can get home field through out the playoffs. So tonight's game is meaningful. And sets up to be somewhat won by the defensive intensity. The Broncos defense blew a huge lead last week in Pittsburgh. Many perceive AJ McCarron as an equal to Andy Dalton. The same cannot be said as you compare Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler. At the time of Manning's injury, he had been sacked 15 times. In five games Osweiler has been taken down 20 times. And he has not seen a defense quite like the Bengals. The second half adjustments that teams have made of Denver have proved effective. Denver has been outscored 36-0 after the break over its last three game and Osweiler has posted a 65.8 rating in the second half of the game compared to 109.4 in the first half. The Bengals are the better team. Their secondary can swallow up Denver's wide receivers routes and cause trouble for Brock's decisions resulting in more sacks or interceptions. Cincinnati's rush game has to step it up with Hill and Bernard. After that, it's AJ to AJ (McCarron to Green) for huge chain moving gains.
