LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS -3 over Milwaukee Bucks, 10 dimes
The Clips have won and covered in 7 out of the last ten meetings between these two teams. They also have been playing remarkably well at home of late, winning their last 6 SU at the Staples Center, and covering the number in 5 of those 6. Let's give the three tonight.
Charlotte Bobcats +3 over UTAH JAZZ, 10 dimes
The Jazz have been stumbling for a few weeks now, dropping 7 out of their last 8 games SU. They only covered the number in two of those games. Charlotte has been playing well overall and on the road. They've gone an impressive 7-1 ATS lately when playing as the visitors. Another important reason for backing the road team here is that Deron Williams and Bigman Mehmet Okur are both going to be out due to injuries. The Jazz defense has been slacking, and I expect many Bobcat players to be in double digits tonight. This dog has some bite, so let's roll with the visitors.
Charlotte Bobcats/UTAH JAZZ over 189, 10 dimes
This total caught my eye as being much too low for this matchup. The Jazz do a fair job of scoring points at home, and their defense has been criticized for being lazy and unenthusiastic of late. The Bobcats have given up over 100 points in 4 out of their last 5 games. On top of this, Charlotte has gone over the total in 4 out of its last 6 games, while the Jazz have eclipsed the total in 5 out of their last 6 games at home.
INDIANA PACERS -8 over Toronto Raptors, 10 dimes
The Pacers just fired their coach, and I expect this first game of the Post-O-Brien Era to be a wake up call to the players. Despite poor play of late, the Pacers are certainly in a good position here to blow Toronto out of the water, which is exactly what they did last month in a blistering 24 point beatdown. The Raptors haven't won a game in their last 11 attempts, and have only covered in 1 out of their last 6 games. Look for Indiana to get back on track against this slumping Toronto squad.
Texas Longhorns -1 over TEXAS A&M, 10 dimes
I just don't put enough weight on the revenge factor in this game to sway my opinion. The Longhorns are the far superior team on both sides of the ball, and the Aggies simply don't score enough points to continue to win games at the rate they've been winning. Take the road team in this rivalry rematch!
