When does it equal out
I can't remember the last time I won a close game.
Yet I've experienced the following bull shit...on limited plays.
Two weeks ago I went thru this:
Bad beat Tuesday: DePaul +1 1/2 2nd H up double digits after trailing at half but still manage to lose 2nd H by 2... 1/2 point loss after being up 16 1/2 spread pts in less than a half.
Worse Beat Wed: Florida +1 Pushes after missing two front end of 1&1's in last dozen seconds and then give up a buzzer beater basket to SoCarolina
WORST Beat Thursday on my biggest game of night: Washington -6.
Up 74-61 with less than a minute to go. Give up a 3, turnover in bounds pass, give up layup, miss one on zero dunk, foul and give up 2 free throws, miss one of two freebies, give up easy two in secoonds, hit 2 FT, give a 3, make first FT to tease the push and then miss 2nd FT. Unbelievable.
How do you lose up 13 with less than a minute giving 6. I'll be gun shy for a while.
One bad loss OK but three killers in three nights on limited plays???
Then that weekend:
Had Colorado State + 8.
Foul down 7 with less than three seconds to go and the guy makes both.
Does anyone in their right mind think they can score 7+ points in less than three seconds without the ball.
hno:
Then last weekend:
Louisville (up by 20 at HT) go 2-5 from the line in the last minute to win by 6 @ minus 6 1/2. Plus miss the second of two free throws in the final three seconds.
Then tonight's 2nd half with Golden State.
OK, you are going to lose some close ones but I really can't remember the last close win I've had. Yet these things keep mounting up. :WTF:<!-- / message -->
