Dallas +3 @ San Antonio

The Mavericks are 10-4 in games following a double-figure loss this season. And there is no doubt they know the meaning of Game 3.
The Mavericks had the best road record in the NBA this season.

Mavericks won twice in San Antonio last year in the first round.
There's always going to be a higher level of urgency from the team that lost.

The Spurs haven't beat Dallas in a playoff series since 2003

FLA MARLINS - 130 GAME AT 9:10

NL Road Warrior Game of the Week

The (9-7) Fla Marlins - 120 get our top play call tonight as R. Nolasco has flat out owned the Rockies as of late. The Marlins and Nolasco's 3-0 and less than 2.75 ERA vs those Rockies will get to the Rockies Greg Smith who has given up a ton of runs and hits so far this young season. Let's play and win tonight on the Road as this power play has the Marlins and Nolasco a 2+ run winner.

Look at the Marlins who are 4-1 in Nolascos last 5 starts as a road favorite of -110 to -150.

THE SHARK
NBA
2-0 SWEEP Last Night

After adding two more winners last night we are confident that tonite's games will follow the trend

Dallas /Spurs UNDER

The Spurs haven't beat Dallas in a playoff series since 2003.
And the Spurs stealing home court advantage Wednesday night probably doesn't mean much against the NBA's best road team.

The Mavs were just one game better at home (28-13) than they were on the road (27-14) this season. Be it as it may I'm going with a tighter game and Under 193.5

Boston/Miami UNDER

After watching the the Heat,to be honest I'd rather drink a glass of nails then put any $$ on any game they were involved in.
But since the totals worked so well for us last night UNDER 182 is the play

Matt Rivers of OffshoreInsiders.com has a winner for Friday on the Miami Heat laying four to Boston.

How many times have we seen a team in the playoffs look like a world-beater at home in blitzkrieg a team and then in the next game on the other’s teams home floor get embarrassed? If I had a penny for every time I would be a multi millionaire right now.

Sure the Celtics had it cooking in that last game, even without Kevin Garnett, as the Heat were beyond pathetic and atrocious all wrapped up into one. But now in South Beach I can’t help but believe we are going to see some changes and a Miami team as focused as focused could ever be.

Boston has star power with Rondo, Garnett, Pierce and Allen but they still had a mediocre 82 game season overall, relatively speaking and is still an aging group that is a lot slower than even when they won the championship a few season’s ago.

Miami certainly has issues, there is no debate there, but Wade is an absolute superstar and the home cooking is going to prove to be invaluable. Wade, O’Neal, Beasley and the fellas have got to be flat out embarrassed over that last performance, if you can even call it a performance. It was as bad of an effort as I have seen in a long time but this is the NBA and that happens. If anything it will be a positive for the Heat as they are going to return home here and look much better in an eight or so point victory.

This is the NBA and the perfect spot for a reversal of fortunes here for both teams.

Boston Celtics at Miami Heat (-3) – Friday at 7:00 p.m. ET

Who needs Kevin Garnett after all? The Heat missed a golden opportunity to even this series at 1-1, as Garnett sat out Game 2 with a suspension, but the Celtics managed a 106-77 blowout win anyway. Glen Davis filled in for KG and racked up 23 points and eight rebounds. Ray Allen scored 25 for Boston, which has covered back-to-back games at the sportsbook. The Celts are just 5-5 against the spread in their last 10 games, though, and 5-5 ATS on the road in their past 10.

Dwyane Wade led Miami with 29 points, but he got absolutely no help; the Heat shot just 38 percent in Game 2 and were out-rebounded 50-33. The loss dropped the Heat to 5-5 against the spread in their last 10 games, and seeing the series shift to Miami may not help; the team is 1-5-1 against the spread in its last seven home games.

The Celtics have dominated Miami in recent seasons, going 9-1 straight up and 7-3 on NBA odds. Wade won’t go down without a fight, though, and he’ll get a win in Game 3.

Pick: Miami

Dallas Mavericks at San Antonio Spurs – 9:30 p.m. ET

San Antonio evened its series at 1-1 with a 102-88 win over the Mavericks in Game 2. The Big Three represented, including Tim Duncan with 25 points and 17 rebounds. Richard Jefferson got into the mix with 19 points and seven rebounds. The Spurs are now a solid if unspectacular 6-4 on NBA betting lines in their last 10 outings. Returning home is great news for the Spurs—they’re 8-2 against the spread in their past 10 home games.

Dallas couldn’t muster much offense after shooting just 36.5 percent from the field. Dirk Nowitizki had 24 points but was just 9-24 from the field. It was the first time in seven games the Mavericks failed to cover the spread. Dallas has been brilliant at the sportsbook when travelling, though, covering eight of its last 10 games away from home.

This series has potential to go the distance. Dallas should shoot the ball better in Game 3, giving it the edge.

Pick: Dallas

NBA PURE GOLD FOR FRIDAY
BEST TWO GOLDEN RELEASES
<<<5 STAR>>>

Boston vs. Miami 7:00 EST
Boston +4 5 STAR
Boston has dispatched Miami in both games played thus far SU and ATS. Boston has covered in 7 of the last 8 games played in Miami. Boston will get KG back for this game. Doc Rivers' team is not dead yet. Take the points.

Denver vs. Utah 10:30 EST
Utah -2.5
D. Williams caused the Nuggets fits in the first two games and was the key to Utah's Game 2 win. As long as there are strong supporting cast members, look for Utah to roll in this one. Jazz on several pointspread streaks. On the opposite side, Denver is on ATS skids. Lay the chalk with the Jazz and count on another good shooting night.

ASA 4* OVER 193.5 Dallas Mavericks vs. San Antonio Spurs 9:30 pm EST - Game #3

(1 NBA pick on Friday - next update is Sat at 11:00 am CST)

Tonight we are playing OVER the total in the Dallas Mavericks vs. San Antonio Spurs game. We cashed the ‘under’ in Game 2 of this series and now flip and bet the ‘over’. Here’s why. In Game 1 of this series these two teams totaled 194 points. The Spurs shot 50% for the game while the Mavericks hit 47.3% of their shots. The games ‘pace of play’ was slightly slower as they attempted just 152 shots. In Game 2 these two combined for 190 total points. San Antonio shot well again by hitting 48.2% of their field goal attempts but Dallas didn’t have their touch, making only 36.5% from the field. San Antonio and Dallas played at a faster tempo as they attempted 168 shots for the game, 16 more attempts than Game 1. They had combined for 104 points at halftime and it looked like the game was going well over the total but then they managed just 36 points in the 4th quarter. A big reason they scored so few points in the fourth is the fact that San Antonio had a big lead and it wasn’t a close game. The two big stars in this series are Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki who have scored a combined 112 points in the two games already. The Spurs have had their way in the paint scoring 40 points in Game 2 and 50 points in Game 1 against the poor interior defense of the Mavericks. What makes this a solid bet most of all though is the pace of play numbers and how these teams play when home and away. The Spurs average 97 ppg when playing on the road and prefer a slower tempo game when traveling. At home those numbers change dramatically as they play faster and score more averaging 105.5 ppg in San Antonio. The exact same can be said for Dallas as they score 101.1 ppg at home and 102.2 when on the road. The Mavericks also play at a faster pace when away compared to being at home. No matter how I cut it this game sets up for a dead ‘over’ unless both teams shoot 42% or lower. Bet the OVER!
