Bonus Plays Friday is 3* Belmont +17 and ‘OVER’ 123 1/2:
I’ll grab the generous points with Belmont and go ‘OVER’ against Virginia. Belmont has four players that shoot over 40 percent from beyond the arc. This team averages 74.5 points per game. Virginia has been winning but they haven’t exactly been blowing people out. The Cavaliers are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 and played extremely close games against Louisville twice, North Carolina, Wake Forest, and could only beat Virginia Tech by a dozen laying 19.5 recently. It is very apparent Justin Anderson just isn’t the same player he was earlier in the season. Belmont was 6-0 SU and 4-0 ATS on neutral floors this year. Plus Virginia last year in round #1 fell behind against Coastal Carolina and only won by 13. Belmont is hot too winning their last seven including a victory over 28-2 Murray State at the buzzer. This team has an excellent guard tandem in senior point guard Reece Chamberlain and shooting guard Craig Bradshaw, who leads the team in scoring and steals. Somewhat surprising is the fact while Virginia leads the nation defensively in allowing just 50.7 points per game, the ‘UNDER’ is only 14-12 this year in all their games. Virginia enters today 9-1 ‘OVER’ on the road in non-conference games the past two years. Belmont has covered six straight following a straight-up win and is 4-0 ATS in their last four versus the ACC.

Georgia has been a solid underdog this season, posting a 9-3-2 ATS when receiving points this season. The Bulldogs take on Michigan State, who struggled as a favorite of at least four points since January, going 3-7 ATS in this role, including losses to Illinois and Minnesota. The Spartans are 2-5-1 ATS in the past eight tournament games as a favorite, while Georgia performed well away from Athens this season with nine wins in 16 tries. I'll take the points with Georgia.

Oklahoma State owns one of the worst records among at-large teams in the tournament at 18-13, as the Cowboys are short underdogs to Oregon. Since losing by 34 points at Arizona in late January, the Ducks have won 11 of 13 games, while covering 10 times in this span (six covers as underdog). Oklahoma State has a number of quality wins, beating Baylor and Texas twice each and Kansas as a short home underdog. Oregon is 4-1 ATS in its past five tournament games, but four times the Ducks were listed as an underdog. I'll take Oklahoma State to knock off Oregon.

Wichita State had high expectations going into the tournament last season undefeated. The Shockers were knocked out in the round of 32 by eventual runner-up Kentucky. This time around, Wichita State received an at-large bid after winning the MVC regular season title before getting knocked off by Northern Iowa in the tournament championship. Indiana enters the tournament with losses in four of its past five games, while its last five wins are against Rutgers (twice), Northwestern, Minnesota, and Michigan, all teams that didn't make the postseason. The Shockers have covered six of their past nine and worth a strong look as a favorite against Indiana.

San Diego State travels to the East coast to take on St. John's in an 8/9 matchup. The Aztecs lost the Mountain West championship to Wyoming, as San Diego State hasn't lost consecutive games this season, posting a 7-0 record off a defeat. St. John's is coming off two bad losses to Villanova and Providence entering the Big Dance, as the Red Storm won seven of eight prior to this two-game skid. The Aztecs own some of the best defensive numbers in the country, limiting opponents to 53 ppg, while allowing 23 opponents to score 58 points or less. I'll lay the number with San Diego State.

Kevin Rogers. Been fading his premium and member plays, while placing his guaranteeds with a bit of luck recently fwiw.
