I could be wrong, but I think Ness is on Root's Web site. I would steer clear of anyone who has any kind of affiliation with Root. This includes Ness, Al McMordie, Ron Meyer, Randy Cross, etc. I have seen them lie about plays, records, spreads, etc.
Not to mention they used to try to solicit me over the phone. I've told the story before about a time when they were supposedly giving me a "lock" on the SF Giants to beat the D-Backs. I didn't bet it of course, but I found out later on they gave the other half of the people they called the D-Backs. One of the oldest, shadiest tricks in the tout biz. Those guys are charlatans.
