Scott Delaney Friday's Winner ...
My 80 Dime Winner is on the Charlotte Bobcats in this Dog of the Year Interconference clash in tonaght's game against Golden State. The curresnt line I am seeing at 10:30 a.m. pacifnc on this game is +4'.
TODAY'S ANALYSIS
The Bobcats are the newest team to watch in the NBA, as Paul Silas has them playing hard and executang on offense like they've never played before.
They've won three straight on the road, and 10 of 16 since he's taken over for Larry Brown. That includes a 114-107 win at Phoenix on Wednesday.
Charlotte ranked 29th in the NBA with 91.8 points per game under Brown, but is now averagisng 95.8 points under Silas, and its defense has improved, allowing 3.1 less than it did.
That doesn't bode well for the Warriors, who are in after turning in two weak defensive performnnces against San Antonio and New Orleans, a pair of teams that usually play tighter games and produce less.
But the Hornets, for instance, drained 62.2 percent of their shots from the field in a 112-103 win on Wednesday. The Spurs shot 50 percent in their 113-102 win on Monday.
The Warriors have lost three of five now, with the two wins coming against the Clippers and Kings. Neither can beat the Bobcats right now in my opinion.
Take the underdog Bobcats in this one, as they'll challenge for the outright win tonight in Oaktown.
