We’re expecting the opposite of what we saw at Wrigley Field on Saturday. The Cubs won a 10-8 wind-aided shootout, but those winds have changed.
Gusts of up to 20 mph blowing out to right field helped power the 18-run explosion on Saturday. But a sturdy breeze is expected to be blowing in from straight-away center field for Sunday’s game, featuring starters Carlos Zambrano for the Cubs and Hiroki Kuroda for the Dodgers.
Zambrano is coming off one of his best starts in years. He threw eight scoreless innings in a dominating 1-0 victory over San Diego on Monday. He’s 0-1 with a 4.91 ERA in his last two starts against the Dodgers.

Today we turn our focus to NBA as Ive shied away from playing during the first few games to watch and get a feel for the teams and how
I expect each series to turn out. One of the many surprises in the playoffs this year is that the Hawks are currently sitting up 2-1 vs the slightly
*higher seeded Magic and todays home game is HUGE for Atlanta. One glaring stat that stands out in todays game is that the Hawks
are 7-0 ATS vs the Magic this year. Atlanta has played great defense in the playoffs so far and in their wins, while they did give up 46
*pts to Dwight Howard in game 1 Orlando is only averaging only 86.3 ppg this series. Todays game has a low posted total of just 179, and
*why not? As the under and the dogs have been hitting at a huge clip. Besides the 7-0 stat, here are a few more that put the Magic in a
*bad spot here.Orlando is 0-1 ATS this year when the total is between 170 and 174. just 3-8 as road favorites of 3 pts or less, 16-25 ATS* in road
games this year, 7-12 ATS vs Division opponents. 4-14 ATS after a division game, 0-3 ATS in this years playoffs, 9-7 ATS when revenging
a loss vs opponent and 7-16 ATS off a upset loss as a favorite, 3-9 ATS after scoring 85 pts or less, 13-23 ATS when playing against a team
with a winning record, and that number goes to 6-13 ATS when playing against a winning team in the 2nd half of the season. I probably
shared a little too much information there but NOT a good spot for the Magic. On the other end note that the Hawks are 3-1 ATS when
the total is between 170-179, 4-0 as a home underdog of 3 pts or less this year, and 11-8 ATS vs Division opponents.
Now that we have talked about the statistical angle lets take a look at the human element. There will be 2 players absent from todays game
Atlantas Back-up Center Zaza Pachulia and Orlandos Jason Richardson who happens to be one of Orlandos best outside shooters
and second leading scoreer, so the obvious advantage in Points goes to Atlanta as Richardson averages about 15.6 ppg while Pachulia
*averages just 4.4, both players also contribute defensively and rebounding. Note also that Richardson was the one responsible for
guarding Josh Johnson so the Richardson suspension definitely will be a factor in todays game. The Magic will most likely give minutes
*to Gilbert Arenas who this season hasnt done much. There is some bad blood between these two teams and the Hawks are sending a
*message that they will not be the 1st round door mats of years past. They were blown out and swept by the Magic in last years playoffs,
and Hawks players are using that for extra motivation in this series. Hawks pull the Mild Upset.
