Yes , no doubt the Mercury are the hottest team right now in the WNBA,but 6 points in a half is a lot to cover,especially when you play a team like the Mystics who are one of these teams that play better on the road,and boy they were on fire at Tulsa on Sunday, if they can start like this again 6 points should be no problem, the Mercury had unusual problems in the first half against the Chicago Sky, one of their weakest first half performances all season
I am really sure the Mystics can keep it close, at least in the first half,the Washington Mystics won 3 of their last 4 road games,the Mystics were well balanced on Sunday in Tulsa 6 players scored in double digits when they won 91-74 and again .the Phoenix Mercury looked a little overplayed in their last road game at Chicago,Taurasi was very frustrated at halftime, but on Sunday they crushed the Silver Stars at home and blew them out, something tells me that will not be the case today, at leat not in the first half,the Mystics tend to have a meltdown in the second half, that has already happened when these teams met at Washington earlier this season
it was a tied game at halftime and the the Mercury put it in the bag second half, BUT the Mystics clearly have improved since then, especially rookie Bria Hartley showed more than once that she can shoot light out from all angles. I give the Mystics another try in first half today
