TG, i thought about this....fuck her dude....here is what you do:

steal some pics of a buddy, make a new profile with a new email. Make yourself seem like the same guy....well off, married, etc. send her a few messages and see if she bites.

when she goes for a meeting handcuff her ass to the steering wheel or something in your car and drive her to the police station. this shit she is doing is not legal (or shouldn't be)....if she agrees to give you back the 5k before you get to the police then let her go....but if you don't get one cent and manage to scare the shit out of her, you are helping out hundreds of future victims

Wow, you already know this, but you're a special type of ed. I've know a couple guys that went to the Dominican, slept with some real "nice" girls, and THEN got suckered into sending them a few bucks through western union....but I've NEVER heard of someone sending money before they got anything at all.

Don't feel bad. You got played and it has happened to most guys. I know myself when I go to the strip clubs with my buddies I say I am only going to spend 100 or 200 and then get wasted and spend 600 - 800. Just downright terrible advice. Hard to even take it seriously. The OP's problem is relatively minor right now. It sucks to get swindled out of $5k but as he said, he can live with it.
