For me, it's changed alot of stereotypes of the bookies/workers in that they're really just guys like us -- just earning a living and doing something they enjoy.
There are alot of genuinely cool guys in the industry like Mike from Rio, Ted/Doug from Bluegrass ... just to name a few.

Yeh I do talk with some posters and all seem to be nice and have met some nice guys too.
I also think the book guys are good too even the guys I have critized a little in the past.

TheRX has really changed my life for the better. I get some really good info on how to bet and it's also a good outlet for me to post my bets.
Sports gambling has really made sports more interesting. Whether I bet $10 on a TV game or a quarter on a player prop, life is better as a result, even when I lose. I rarely lose without learning how to bet better.

How has Rx changed my life ?
I quit my job, sold my truck, have friends I don't even know, spend even more time on net, rarely leave the house, I now drink Busch beer.
I stay-up very late, get up in time to bet the next day's games ( after reading RX).
I used to be 6' tall, have shrunk to about 5'-4". I was about 200 lbs, now pushing 300. I will not answer a telephone.
I don't have to even get dressed anymore. I've taken to peeing in the shower, which is only necessary twice a week now.
I reply to my own posts ( and replies) with numerous handles, just to bump them up.
I now bet 50,100,200,500 units a game, whatever it takes !
I haven't bothered to file a tax return since the 1900's. I'm considering returning to illegal drug use.
I forget to feed the cat and empty litter box.Cooter has learned to drink from toilet. Forgot where vacuum cleaner is, and how to use it. Last oil change in wife's car was 19,000 miles ago.
In other words, THE AMERICAN DREAM !

Newton: I kid around a lot with the guys here. I'm serious now. I hope my words may help you, so I'll choose them with care. At 32 years old, male, and presumably healthy, don't let some losses on gambling lead you to drastic measures.newton0038 said:

I'll offer an odd alternative. Maybe become a dealer. It may provide the high , vicariously, it may work !

A financial failure at gambling doesn't make you a loser, worthy of suicide. Most people ( that try) fail at gambling as a career, it's well documented !
You live in arguably the best country in the world. Many USA citizens would like to move to where you are.
The average citizen on planet Earth has it far worse than any American or Canadian.
Take someone living in Africa, Haiti, Cuba, Dominican Republic, most of central and South America, Asia. These people would be grateful to live in an American or Canadian... JAIL.
You feel you are underpaid, underemployeed. It could be a hell of a lot worse. You have the power to change your situation. These words come from an athiest, not a bible pumper. You can turn this around, it's relatively minor.
