Serious question for Journeyman....

This is hilarious....I have stated many times I will meet anyone who is in my vicinity...I don't get what the big deals is, other than to create another drama, BigBet you have become the master of trying to start drama.

Do I have to mention every personal aspect of my life on here?

I don't drink, I don't play casino games , I don't like flying, I have a business, I have a daughter I miss dearly and I spend most of the summer with, I don't like FLYING!

Now I have SkinsRaj taking shots at me, someone I have given respect to the entire time he's been a member here....pathetic!

My buddies daughter got sick and had to cancel last minute, yea, i could have still came, but decided not too. I wouldnt say it was last minute, it was at least a 10 day notice that I recall.

There are much more serious things in life, obviously. But I think a lot of us are taking this personally. Here's a guy that averages 25 posts a day, and has been doing so for 5 years. But he doesn't want to take two days out of his "busy" schedule to actually hang out with us? Screw the drinks and the casino games, two more excuses he's using, because that's not what the bash is about. It's about the one time of the year where we, as internet friends, get together and enjoy being real friends, too. If there is nothing more to it, I think it's natural for us to be offended, since it seems that he's too good for us and we would be a waste of his time. If there is more to it, such as maybe being 5'4" 345 lbs, then nobody is going to care one bit, and we will accept him anyway. I just see no reason to miss the bash, since the rx is one of his places of employment, and he spends hours everyday of the year on the site. He's not too good for us 363 days out of the year, so why not go to the bash for a couple days.

Just expressing how I, and obviously a lot of others feel. Hope to see you there, J'man. We all want to meet the legend.

i too would like to meet the journeyman. it just aint gonna happen. if he says he doesnt like to fly...how can you argue? i dont mind flying but, i've been on an airplane with people who are terrified and its not fun for anyone.

however, i look forward to meeting illini, dante, wil and other posters who i've talked to via the internet this august.
