We have today 2 games that we are chasing in a game 2 situation today plus 1 game that qualifies as a "back end chase"


Florida marlins RL -1.5 -115 (Gm#2) 2 units
Boston red sox RL -1.5 +125 (gm#2) 2 units


texas rangers ML -110 (back-end) 1 unit

what is ther reasoning behind this texas pick? it it mechanical or pure habdicapping? e.g why not LAD?

LAD was disqualified by a double filter.....2-3 L5 vs a hot team (LST 5) and playing on the road.

Texas passed all filters....even though some passed slightly

off the top of my head atleast 4.....with one of them a loss.

But going into the last day of wagering for the series I usually do a recap.....where i will state if we are already in the profit and by how much. Usually we are already in the good soI caution to either take the money and bank it, risk just a little on the game 3 or go ahead and go for the glory....for record tracking I mark it down as a play and record it win or lose....but there is usually some good options.

Recap and thoughts for tomorrow

so far the winners are LAA, NYY, SEAT, TEX, PHILY

we have 2 games open going to game 3 BOSTON, and Florida....

the total so far is -1.8 units, not to bad considering we got 2 games still open. This would leave many options open again. Example just quit and take this minimal loss for the 4 days, or even be conservative and play 1.5 units on the 2 teams giving us a profit (since both will be +money) if both win.....if they split we are still in the same spot we started and if both lose a loss of 4.8 units....

On the other hand the regular 3 units is not bad either (or maybe 2 units).....Same again split no harm, 2 wins would be huge while a double loss would lead to -7.8 units.

Play as you wish but it seems that even with 2 teams left, the winning series banked cushion the blow...interesting!!

I will post-up as 3 units tomorrow as always for I'm recording this straight up with no money management strategies in play.....You do as you feel, I'm sure everyone's situation is a little different.

no line on Boston so if ml is -120 or less we play moneyline if its higher we take them at -1.5 and the + money
