Happy tidings is coming from tennis star Venus Williams. MediaTakeOut.com reports that the 2007 Wimbledon Championships Women's [COLOR=orange ! important][COLOR=orange ! important]Singles[/COLOR][/COLOR] winner is engaged to marry boyfriend Hank Kuehne, whom she has been dating for almost a year.

Details of the proposal are still sketchy, but the couple are said to try keeping their [COLOR=orange ! important][COLOR=orange ! important]engagement[/COLOR][/COLOR] out of the spotlight.

"Venus is preparing for (the Australian Open) and she doesn't need the (media) distraction," one of Williams' family members told the site. "But everyone is very happy, especially Venus."

Kuehne, a professional golfer, was noticed to visibly give huge support to Williams during her matches at the 2007 Wimbledon.

"He's a great guy," Williams once said to USATODAY.com in an interview prior to the tournament's semifinal. "He understands competition. He's very supportive. I love having him here and everyone else in the box, too."
