Enjoyed our little chat FairWarning. Nice meeting you... sorry I didn't offer you a chair, not that you had any trouble standing. lol

Didn't get to talk to too many bashers being the quiet and shy type, but did have the pleasure of meeting a few: The fabulous Wilheim (The mystery man behind the scenes, he reminds me of somebody - a cross between Joseph Stalin and Jack Nicholson maybe?), xpanda (what a pleasure...she worked her a** off), Rick A (mastered the bash ceremonies like a pro), Dante (seemed like he knew everyone even if he didn't), SportSavant (wish we could have talked more as we have a lot in common here @ the RX), Mr Leisure (everybody's favorite) and a quick handshake with 5teamparlay (has the cutest 2 year old you ever saw). A whole lot more I never got to meet but wish I did.

The ovation I got walking up for my envelope was way too cool. Wow! A cross country trip to Vegas on the RX's dime was more than anyone could ask for. Great people, great time, great job RX!

Nice meeting you JOH,sorry we didn`t get to talk much .Next year i want to see you in the sportsbook before the bash party.

I have to echo many of the sentiments on this thread. I really enjoyed meeeting everyone at the Bash. Many people, especiallly Xpanda, put in a lot of work to make this a fun time. Many many characters and the conversations were "interesting". Hope you all have successful years. Hope to see you next year. Thank you Rx!!

Nice havng dinner with you CHAMELEON and your better half.

Nice meeting you JOH as well, you have been an assett here for a long time. (your work here is appreciated and noticed by other posters here) WHEN you won that $250 account I was thinking to myself IT WAS WELL DESERVED ALONG with DANTE who also won one as well. Wish I could have spent more time hanging out with posters as well, but spent a lot of time in the playing in the POOL, on roller coasters, seeing lions, and sight seeing with the family and wouldn't trade it for anything.

working good...not sure what you did but you fixed it :drink:

Pure Mojo my friend. I didn't really do anything except suggest you run Windows Update. Computers are weird like that. One time they work, another time they don't.

I used to have a laptop that had a hardware conflict with the soundcard. If I disabled the soundcard it would boot up every time. When I enabled the soundcard it would give me the Blue Screen of Death 9 times out of 10. I don't know what was going on that 1 time out of 10 that it worked.

why dont we all just go back to vegas next weekend?

:think2: :drink:

I suggested getting together a couple pages back. Coach LT and Kiss1 and I met last year some time after the Bash of 2006 and we were the only ones to show up even though we invited the whole board.

Let me know if you get some more people to show up this time.

Great thread (I had seen the first couple of posts but never got back to this thread). Sounds like the September Bash was a tremendous success!

Next year, make sure we have 1 bash (hopefully in August), pretty please. :103631605

Many pictures were interesting to look at as to match poster's face with the personality we see on the forum. The weird thing is of all people, the owner, MartyJ, I never would guess that's him, I don't know why!

One poster I must say something about-- Jack of Hearts-- we have collaborated sometimes on some posts here on this forum, and I am happy that he won one of those parlay prizes. Seeing his face reminded me of 2 former bosses I have had merged into one face, which I find it eerie. Nonetheless, glad you had a good time, JoH!

Now, onto the main reason of my post, I am noting one big absence in those photos (or perhaps, preference of not having his picture posted). No, I am not talking about Journeyman, LOL. Any pictures of our head honcho, Wilheim? From the descriptions from many posters in the past including last year, I think I can picture Wil but I just am too curious. I only have been here exactly 1 year so I don't recall if Wil's picture was ever posted. :)

I'm naming any names, but some one in a picture between posts #112 and #125 is looking/posing very gay.

Isn't WIL's appearance basically a morph of SonnyC/MarlonB/TonySoprano and Benjamin Grimm?

Yara and Green Doberman..............................................................................................................................

I just met this young lady this past weekend and when I told her that her picture was on this forum she was surprised and seemed pleased ,she was very friendly and even more attractive in person.
BTW she says hello to all you degenerate gamblers!!

Grins.

This may come as a surprise, but I'm that type of person... with friends, I *will run* to avoid the camera when they try to take a picture of me. There aren't many pictures of me around, so if I ever want a scrapbook done (please), I would be very doomed! :)

But in a public setting, I'm like, "I am not going to be ducking and avoiding many cameras, ha. Else, I'd have to explain that I don't want my picture taken or begin to explain why I don't want my picture taken." Ah well.

So I feel for Wil. Guess I'll wait a year to meet him then. :103631605

My personal philosophy is that The Rx Bash is not about me so yes I try to stay out of the limelight. Regarding having my photo posted here on The Rx.com. That is a personal choice I made nearly 5 years ago when I became a mod. I ask posters taking pics to leave me out of any pics they plan on posting not because I have anything to hide but just because it is my own personal choice. One everyone here has if they choose to excersise it.

I have deleted a couple of pics at the request of posters who will remain nameless after they emailed me after the Bash was over early last week.

I did give away around 100 Wilhiem - Head Moderator - Rx.com business cards though. I actually ran out of the supply I took with me. Many of you still have one I assume. On the back is a natrually small blackjack basic stratetgy chart.

CalvinTy if I can figure how to do it I will email you a recent photo of myself.
