its a 6 unit complex that shares a bathroom
its just a room that has a bed, sink, fridge, and oven
pay 360 a month, heat paid for, all i pay is like 10-15 bucks a month for electricity
near downtown and the university so i can walk to everything i need
works for me
saving gobs this winter on gas bills gonna be -3 on saturday for the high yikes!!

granted i got a girl so i'm kinda off the market
but plenty of eye candy to go around
as for money i'm enjoying my time in graduate student
non stressful since i'm taking my time, my prof laid back, make my own hours

i'll go the self employed route making ends meet various ways
i have issues with both telling others what to do and taking orders from others, corporate world just not for me
i'm a very free spirit
money and materialistic wealth is of no concern to me at all, other than having enough to have the necessities
although i do travel quite a bit when i have the time

yeah i do that in the stock market and other arenas (we on a gambling forum you know)

tiznow (a racehorse of recent past) stems from my horse racing roots
hope to own some, some day
although will be interesting to see if the industry survives what the economy is about to bring
the people running the industry are a complete joke

last year stung me and my buddies woulda hit the p6 at the derby if curlin had won
i said curlin was winning the derby when he broke his maiden in awe inspiring fashion, romping first out at 7f looking like baffoon doing it horse was clueless at the time pure freak job, came up short come derby day
horse is such a freak to do what he's done in such a short period of time hopefully he runs again this year
just gotta love it though horse goes on to become horse of the year but can't cash a huge p6 on him in the derby oh well

anyway getting off my tangents back to gloom and doom

i'm turning near term bullish here (well of the bear shake variety obviously not long term)
asia reversing and yen carry unwind stopped
as long as GE results are okay
expect a viscous bear shake to get going
only healthy for the bear overall to squeeze some bears outta the market and give bulls hope
could be good opportunity for bulls to dump some holdings, or to even add more shorts
maybe i'm wrong and we keep tanking
only thing that makes me wary we might continue to tank is VIX (volitility index) is still low only 28 haven't had a big fear spike yet on the vix end of things

you sound like me tiz...lazy...dont like taking orders from people...luckily i have a regular job my boss (she) loves me and i can do what i wish (which usually means im 1/2hour - 1.5hours late...work 3or4 hours punch out and go home (watch CNBC all day and read this thread LOL)...cant stand the 9-5 its basically everything i stand against...
started my own ebay business and doing quite well especially during the holiday season...
plan is to save enough money move to california where some of my friends live, get a $10 an hour job in a convience store for 6hours a day and lay out on the beach and be a bum (and continue to do the ebay LOL)....
i drive a shitbox, i pay $38 a month for car insurance my gym payment is only like .39cents less than my car insurance, all my friends drive fancy newer cars (with their $400+ month payments and $200+ month insurance) and i could give a fuck, not impressed with material type things...

WOW this volitility can get you some nice prices at the right time
GE met consensus no other news to bring the markets down
after a week of huge blood i highly doubt they reverse the early rise as futures up 114
well see if bulls totally cream themselves here with a major bear shake, wouldn't surprise me
and we got bush "stimulus" speak to look forward to later in the day
