Red Eye, as you know, I watch Washington basketball/football pretty closely. They are a very good team but when you compare a Gonzaga to UK, they just can't compete so if you're talking #1 seed, yeah, they may get one but will get killed come tourney time against a very good team.

They should've beaten Arizona this year in Arizona though. If they can keep all of their games close deep into the 2H of the tourney, I can see them playing for the title.

no doubt Kentucky is the team to beat... but after that, I believe there is a short list this year to win it and Gonzaga in my mind is as good as the rest of the teams that have a shot... If you can get to the Final Four who knows who is left standing... that's the beauty of the tournament... This team is a lot better then the #1 seed Zags of two years ago...for me I would be very surprised if they don't get to at least a regional final

This does look like the beat team they've had since they choked against UCLA in the tourney years back. This team should cruise to the elite 8 and should have a good chance at making it to the final 4.

I still think their kryptonite is long, athletic teams that have depth inside. While the zags have another couple of nice pieces, guys like Karnowski would get their lunch eaten if they had to face good competition most nights in a real conference. WCC is a joke. I do like Sabonis though. He can play anywhere in the country. That is a nice signing for them and could be the x factor for them as he improves late in the season.

once they get to the dance and have to play good teams back to back you will see, but at this time they play crap teams imo, if they played in the acc no way would they have this high rating..................

Karnowski tore the doors off Arizona in Tucson. He's getting much better.

after UConn of course puff_>>

VA plays incredible defense (not showboat D, real D) and that's the best way to survive 6 one and dones

Red eye, all over a Pacific Northwest team? No Way. Just kidding I like them too. I wish Brad Stevens was still at Butler. Greatest coach

Gonzaga's Achilles heel is their coach. He cannot adapt to any changes the other coach makes. Not a good crisis coach at all. Remember the aforementioned collapse against UCLA. Remember also the blown 15 point lead against Bob Knight's Texas Tech team. I remember screaming instructions to Mark Few in that game.

I pretty much ride with the teams I get good value on...study the teams in advance and grab some good odds...when the tournament starts hopefully I am in good position

That game didn't seem very interesting. Gonzaga looked good, but only the 4th trip to the Sweet 16 since 2000 for Few.

Gonzaga is a really good looking team and the last game against Iowa they played just flawless basketball and should be a team to be reckoned with down the stretch
