The 6 draft picks is a lie
Denver made out huge on this deal
Its not a lie it was preliminary report i saw on fox sports. The teams are in discussion on the compensation the Saints will receive.

He was the guy to go for it on 4th down before any of these coaches had the balls to do so. He showed the blueprint. I think it’s safe to say he’s the real deal. Onside kick at halftime in the superbowl probably the ballsiest call in superbowl history.

He's a good coach but doubt he's much different than the other top coaches..... if you don't have a QB or a sick 4-5 year run of draft picks, good luck.

Denver could have very easily been in the playoffs with 10 or 11 wins if they had a competent head coach. They lost 3 games in OT and twice by 1 point. At one point in the season they were #1 on Defense and 32nd on offense ?

You need new sources . It’s already been decided

Saints get the 28th pick of the draft and Denver’s 2nd round pick .

Saints trade them a 3rd

so saints get 2 picks and trade 1

1.5 picks essentially not 6

Well now he might not be lol. He did lay the blueprint tho. There are quite a few risk takers now compared to 2010. He was one of if not the only one going for it almost all of the time at home. Broncos have a better defense and richer history than chargers and raiders. They will be back in the mix with him no question about it. Not bottom feeders.

I do disagree with him completely on his take about Williams at USC. He’s way off IMO. Sometimes when you get to the broadcast team your whole perspective changes. Tony Romo not right about shit anymore lol.

Wow. Give up draft capital for the Mike D'Antonio of the NFL.

The GM for the Broncos might even be worse then "GM Kevin Costner of the Browns" all then way through Gameday minus the stupid ending.

Need to look deeper on the coach issue . It’s easy to just look at record they lost he sucks. Take the Seattle game week 1. He was criticized for the clock management. But he was actually playing for the FG and if it works Seattle has no time. If he calls the timeouts and kicks FG Seattle has 60-90 seconds left. We all know in the nfl anything literally over 20 seconds is enough time for fg Range. Teams constantly leave too much time and get burned. Hard to trust the QB in 3rd n long or 4th when he has sucked all game

Denver was putrid in the RZ. Look at the Colts game. Russ has chance after chance down there and throws picks and air mails balls. It was horrible. Nothing to do with Hack.

Hack was a new head coach. Running a system that Russ Sucks isn’t fit to run. Bad move on Denver getting Russ and hiring Hack. Hack runs a Aloha X Big Wr dominant role just as D Adams is in GB. Requires Short to intermediate routes revolve around feeding the X. Russ has never and can’t run that stuff. He is a 1-2 progressive read QB who bails early and can’t work the middle and plays back yard football throw it deep. He is to short and can’t see the middle hence why he never works it. He panics and too quickly breaks up the plays. OL and WR guys just get lost.

The defense was so good. No it wasn’t. I’ve said this many times. Tim Tebow effect! Find a shit offense that doesn’t score and you will find a good defense if they have decent talent. The minute Den got into the high 20’s vs KC LV Lac etc the defense was giving up 30. Den D was not that good. Just like when Tebow was there it was the defense is so greats very next year manning shows up they average 38ppg but suddenly the defense sucks because ppl see them giving up 26ppg

Hack wasn’t the problem made out to be. It’s just too easy to make it he was. Green HC with a diva over paid locker room cancer QB in first year with new team. Russ is despised his own teammates. And not suited for the offense Hack runs. If anything Elway and the guys need to be canned because they have made blunder after blunder assembly of this team for years

Somebody needs to boot Elway. Easy to blame Hackett or Vic or this or that. Yet Elway was bombing drafts and QBs and players left n right since what like 2009? He has been heavily involved for years. And butchered stuff

I remember guys RD1 like Shane Ray Sky Williams Paxton Lynch Noah Fant and Garrett Bolles. They took a 26 year old tackle with like the 15th pick. Good player but yikes.

plus what y’all are not accounting for is how bad Hackett actually was. Early in the season he made a fool of himself it was a wrap after that.
What did Payton say about Williams
That he’s a generational talent or some shit

Hard to disagree with that
He has a mahomes type ceiling .

Him , Lawrence and Luck are the 3 highest graded QBs in the last 20 years to come out the draft . I would call that a generational talent.

Attempting the 4th longest field goal in NFL history instead of going for it on 4th and 4 late in the game .

That play cost me over 20k because I was gonna win willies survivor contest but Hackett fucked me up.

That’s my story sticking to it . Haha

Ok lol.

Plus if Mahomes was such a sure thing the first 9 teams would’ve taken him. Let’s not act like he also didn’t fall to a great situation. A coach who looked at him like he did with favres arm talent. I knew after that preseason game against the falcons in Mahomes rookie year that him and tyreke would be a major problem. He threw it 75 yards in the air in a preseason game. But still 9 teams passed on him before that.

That’s funny to you?
Ok
Perhaps you should look up some draft grades on Williams and compare them to other QBs of the last 20 years and see how many of them have a higher grade then Williams

I don’t care what the grades say. He’s overrated. Mahomes technically was underrated going 10th.
