Peterson should have run to the right side on the last play. He ran to the left side and the ball was placed on the left hashmark for the field goal. Place kickers use the middle or right hashmark when they attempt a field goal because the ball hooks. I don't think they even practice from the left hashmark. As far as the laces on the ball facing in, the kicker requested for the laces to be placed that way for this game. Probably because of the weather. At least that's what they said on the broadcast.
