Gl today man

i was leaning toward seattle today....for your over play do you think hernandez will continue his struggles or is it more that the seattle bats are hot.

That Over play was less of an indictment on Hernandez and more of play on what I thought was too low of a total for the overall matchup based upon these two pitcher's records verus the opposition.

Hernandex is 2~1 with a 5.82 ERA vs BAL and Bedard is 1~3 with a 5.73 vs SEA.

Meanwhile I like what the SEA offense had been doing lately, putting up 11, 5, 8, 9 and 6 runs in their last five games respectively. And at the same time the SEA defense has given up 6, 4, 9, 5 and 8 runs in their last five games respectively. Smells like an "over" to me.

Hey Sonny ~

To tell you the truth, I rarely play Unders. When playing totals I usually play Overs. Unders scare me for some reason. Too much that can go wrong with them.

But as far as this game is concerned, I can see why you're interested in the Under. Burres has been solid and you may see an extra motivated performance out of him today since it looks like he will be going back to the bullpen after today's start as a long reliever. He has a solid strike out to inning ratio and his ERA is nice.

Baek scares me a tad. And Seattle's bats are hot. Personally, I won't touch the Under in this one.....but that's just me. If you do take it, maybe wait until game time to see what the weather is again and also to maybe get a better number. The O/U opened at 9 and I see it is 9.5 at a few outs.
