It just really boggles my mind how sites make changes like this. Who beta-tested it and said it was better? Those people are complete morons. I typically am on mobile so dunno if it’s diff on a pc, but the new version is nearly unusable. Half the shit doesn’t load, and it’s 10x harder to get the info I want

It wasn't an immediate thing, it's something they were phasing in. Not sure what the deadline is (or even if it still exists), I've been out of that game for awhile now. Likely websites trying to get ahead of the game. Probably some people here more entrenched in web design can speak more intelligently on it.

Another reason to find an alternate to Google. THey are way too big when they can force you to rewrite your website in order to accommodate them. Fk Google.

One could argue that it is the way to go regardless, given the fact that the % of people who access the web from mobile device has exploded.
If your site is not mobile friendly you will go extinct.

Comes at the expense of the old guard who no longer gets the ideal format on their laptop, and you can't blame web designers for making that choice.

Of course the best sites have a format that is good on laptop as well as mobile-friendly, but that is really hard to pull off.

Covers is terrible now....so many pop ups and advertisements you can't even open pages without so much lag time. Used to be a daily user haven't been for years it got too frustrating. The mobile is impossible

Yeah I had never really visited the site until that survivor guy mctrap story got posted. Visited the forum and it lagged so hard on my phone I just closed it out and never returned

It's ok, but doesn't have power lines. Those are very helpful at least for me

Exactly...they are very helpful. The new format still has them but it's more difficult to read the way the lines read

I use Scoresnodds and have never seen "power lines". Not that I would use them anyway. The NBA more than any other sport is not about whose the best but whose coming to play.

My local does as well. I love how it doesn’t show the underdog juice for hockey and baseball, so I just bet dogs usually
