Even the Saudis wanted Netanyahu to address Congress:

“I am very glad of Netanyahu’s firm stance and [his decision] to speak against the nuclear agreement at the American Congress, despite the Obama administration’s anger and fury,” wrote the Saudi. “I believe that Netanyahu’s conduct will serve our interests, the people of the Gulf, much more than the foolish behavior of one of the worst American presidents.” -- Dr. Al-Faraj - Saudi daily newspaper Al-Jazirah on Monday

"The foolish behavior of one of the worst American presidents"

That is nothing to brag about. Saudi Arabia has one of the worst human rights issues in the world, not even mentioning that they are one of the biggest supporters of terrorism. Them backing Netanyahu doesn't make it right.

What struck me the most is the contrast in leadership.

Bibi probably gave the most impressive and masterful speech the White House has seen since the days of Ronnie. He spoke with conviction, confidence, determination and strength. In contrast, our current leader is a weak appeaser who is just going to hope this problem goes away. He's so desperate to add anything positive to his failed legacy that he's willing to risk the security of Israel and the U.S. as a bargaining chip. Any dimocrap who skipped the speech or criticized Bibi can feel free to dig their own graves and fall into them.

As a matter of fact, the Stuttering Clusterfuck's comments on Netanyahu's speech were very angry. I've never once seen him get that angry about any ISIS beheading, about Iran stating they intend to wipe Israel off the map, about Iran building weapons that could land within American borders...

Lou Dobbs was right. The free world may have a new leader after today.

He gave the same speech when he encouraged Congress to attack Iraq. How did that turn out??? "The whole Middle East will be better off without Saddam", or something to that extent. Yeah, right.

He didn't have to. Bibi made an utter, embarrassing fool of himself. The Boy who cried Wolf once too often. Hopefully the voters of Israel see it, and do the right thing for themselves and get the fear monger far away from The Prime Ministers Office, and get a legit leader that will deal with it's greatest ally and the rest of the P5+1, as we try to stop Iran from getting Nukes.

Ladies and gentlemen, I've come here today to tell you we don't have to bet the security of the world on the hope that Iran will change for the better. We don't have to gamble with our future and with our children's future.

We can insist that restrictions on Iran's nuclear program not be lifted for as long as Iran continues its aggression in the region and in the world.

(APPLAUSE)

Before lifting those restrictions, the world should demand that Iran do three things. First, stop its aggression against its neighbors in the Middle East. Second...

(APPLAUSE)

Second, stop supporting terrorism around the world.

(APPLAUSE)

And third, stop threatening to annihilate my country, Israel, the one and only Jewish state.

(APPLAUSE)

Thank you.

My friends, what about the argument that there's no alternative to this deal, that Iran's nuclear know-how cannot be erased, that its nuclear program is so advanced that the best we can do is delay the inevitable, which is essentially what the proposed deal seeks to do?

Well, nuclear know-how without nuclear infrastructure doesn't get you very much. A racecar driver without a car can't drive. A pilot without a plan can't fly. Without thousands of centrifuges, tons of enriched uranium or heavy water facilities, Iran can't make nuclear weapons.

(APPLAUSE)

The pus boil on his ass, another member of The Three Troll Amigos, moans about Superbeets spamming, while Spammy The Jew hater wonders aloud if I'll "call out" Superbeets. Only the lowest of life form would do that while posting a picture of the Jewish PM with nuke residue on his face. Still, Spammy craves my attention because, "you were once a decent guy." There's a reason I entitled this thread, "Schmuck With Earflaps." It wasn't only for Obama. Who didn't know Spammy The Sewer Rat wouldn't take up residence here.

Meanwhile, back on Bizarro Boulevard Obama continues to show Iran his backbone:

  • Iran Rejects Obama's Demand for 10-Year Nuclear Work Halt - Arshad Mohammed
Iran on Tuesday rejected as "unacceptable" a demand by President Obama that Tehran freeze its sensitive nuclear activities for at least 10 years, the Fars news agency reported. "Iran will not accept excessive and illogical demands," Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said. "Obama's stance...is expressed in unacceptable and threatening phrases." (Reuters)

Obama Needs to Provide Real Answers to Netanyahu's Arguments - Editorial

The concerns about a prospective nuclear agreement with Iran raised by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a speech to Congress on Tuesday deserve a serious response from the Obama administration - one it has yet to provide. His speech singled out "two major concessions": the acceptance of a large Iranian nuclear infrastructure, and a time limit on any restrictions, so that in as little as a decade Iran would be free to expand its production of nuclear materials.

He asserted that the Iranian regime, engaged in a "march of conquest, subjugation and terror," could not be expected to change during the decade-long term of an agreement. He proposed that controls on the nuclear program should be maintained "for as long as Iran continues its aggression in the region and in the world."

Rather than continuing its political attacks on Netanyahu, the administration ought to explain why the deal it is contemplating is justified - or reconsider it. (Washington Post)

  • President Obama, Listen to Netanyahu on Iran - Faisal J. Abbas
One must admit, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did get it right when it came to dealing with Iran. The Israeli PM managed to hit the nail right on the head when he said that Middle Eastern countries are collapsing and that "terror organizations, mostly backed by Iran, are filling in the vacuum." In just a few words, Mr. Netanyahu managed to accurately summarize a clear and present danger, not just to Israel, but to other U.S. allies in the region.
Nobody disagrees that ridding Iran of its nuclear ambitions is paramount. However, the real Iranian threat is not just the regime's nuclear ambitions, but its expansionist approach and state-sponsored terrorism activities which are still ongoing. (Al-Arabiya)

I'm waiting for Spammy to ask why "Israel isn't helping" in the war against ISIS. The stairwell to the end of his stupidity has no bottom.

[h=1]Netanyahu responds to Obama: We did indeed present practical alternative to Iran deal[/h]
[h=2]As he arrives back in Israel, the prime minister pushes back against those saying there was no tactical alternative in his speech to Congress.[/h]
ShowImage.ashx

Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu landed in Israel on Wednesday after his two-daytrip to Washington saying that "many around the world heard what Israel has to say about the bad deal with Iran."

Apparently pushing back against those saying that there was no tactical alternative in his speech, Netanyahu said that he did indeed present a practical alternative that would extend Iran's break out time by adding new restrictions.

He also said that he presented a case for not lifting sanctions until the Iranians stop its hostile actions against neighboring countries and stop threatening to annihilate Israel.

Netanyahu said that the responses he heard from both Republicans and Democrats were encouraging and that his impression was that they both understand why this is a bad deal.
