I am willing to get don best and put say

500$ per book with four or five books. but I still dont understand some of the things you are talking about! I really appreciate all of you help but if possible could you give me some exmples and scenarios.

Thanks

Augs

I bet a prop bet tonight on What I thought was a forsure but it is slowing down. Not too worried though.

Markus Naslund 4 shots o/u I took the over 550/500. we ll see.

Don Best Premium Odds is $550 per month. Placing $500 @ 4-5 books isn't gonna pay for Don Best.

2 or 3 years ago scalping was easy. not any more. very time consuming so if you try it you can forget about dating or having a life in general.

there is a lot of traps scalping...that´s why I only take valuebets instead..I makes scalps a couple of years ago but it´s most shit-books with slow line-change....

SIA is a good example.......this shit-book..there´s a lot of more shit-books out there.

a lot of other shit-books makes their losses and try to take back their losses on cancellations...other cut your limits faster than you can imagine..sometimes after 2-3 bets.....

be very careful scalping.. try look for value instead.

my experience.

good luck.

Augs,
Earl is exactly right. I have spent countless hours scalping and middling and profited handsomely. However, the vast majority of my profits were 2 to 3 years ago BEFORE Don Best. You see Don Best is so widely available now that any divergence in lines at any 2 books is quickly closed and it never gets large enuf to be worth it anyway. You do have the rogue books that don't follow Don Best, but then you're worried about the stability of the book. For these reasons, I personally have been in the process of getting out of this business and should be completely out in 6 months or less hopefully (waiting on some Rogue books to pay, incidently). Take the advice of most of the posters here - scalping is profitable, but if you calculated your profit per hour it would work out to about $3 or $4. Miccy D's pays more than that!

live bet can be good for scalps but also very dangerous...

I lost 2000$ pick the wrong side first then it suddently moved and I decide to take value instead and lost 2000$ try scalp a few $.

but agree.. if you good.......it can be profitable..

Middling and scalping is nothing but hard work just like a job but much more aggravating takes a lot of money to do , and with Don Best the #dont run much ,and you have to be quick ,it really helps to have a number of private out where the # might strange ,but most of them deal off Don Best ,unless you find private that has a opinion then you have something

Thanks for the great info guys. Heres a line of the upcoming lightweight bout:

Sportsavant -175
Wilheim + 155

What exactly do you mean by value bets? I have a vague idea. Myself personally I NEVER bet favs or unders. Is this kinda what you re talking about.

Overall, you will find much more value in UNDERS with the NFL and the NBA.

Look for games that the line is moving UP on the total and one in which you think the reason for this is because of the general public.

For example, such cases occur quite often on nationally televised games.

not sure if this is a good example as this is the ALL STAR game but just as an example the total was 250.5 & it is now 253...based on how easily the rookies game went over yesterday I imagine the public will continue to pound the over in this contest...taking the under at the last second may be a wise play...
