Rock has graciously purchased the new baseball so I assume he will be sharing on this thread. Hopefully baseball II will do better than what was reported for last years version.

Fortunately SBP has shown us that he is capable of presenting both a profitable system and just the opposite, ie: NCAA. With that known it would be unreasonable for anyone to go overboard until Baseball II proves itself.

Thanks for that Stillwell. You are correct about the previous MLB season. Rich Allen emailed me a while ago with the results for 2008-9. They were something like 303-301(W-L) but he said that the system produced a 27 point profit. That is OK, but for 600+ bets??
I also hope that MLB v2.0 is better. I am guessing that Rock will be posting the picks on here?
One of my problems with forums is that I am in the UK, i.e. about 5 hours ahead of ET in the USA, so your 7pm is midnight for me! ha ha .

Using the old system, and % from wager line,(not sure if this shows a true consensus, can anyone chime in on this?) I think the Reds and Pirates would be considered a play?

From what i understand, this system is basically meant to be more like they other system...that you will be looking for certain lines in certain situations, similar to the -3.5, 1, +12 etc in the NBA system.

Can you explain what that means?

We are just betting moneylines. Also we are betting thelisted pitcher at the times the starting odds were established. If the pitching changes then the bet is void so you need to bet listed pitcher NOT action (which is any pitcher).

If u click that box it means Jimenez must be the starting pitcher for the rockies in order for you play to count.
