Was that the newest one that came out? Or the first remake? Eitherway, both of those movies were fucken awesome. I saw the first one at the movie theather and during the middle of the movie, I heard a girl crying to her boyfriend saying she wanted to leave.

That big beefy chainsaw dude freaked me the fuck out. I can handle myself but if I met that dude, I think I'll just turn into a cheerleader from those 80's scary flick and just scream, trip, and die.
Between Hostel and Turistas I learned one thing. When in foriegn countrys, be especially careful of your drink. You see these guys getting drugged and then real awful stuff happens.

Seems like they only fuck with White people. So I feel a lil safe

Yeah it`s the newest one thats came out...The remake to me is a masterpiece as far as horror films are concerned...The Beginning is more of pure gore and ripgut horror...

Alright. Just back from Hostel 2. It's INSANE.

If you remember in the one commercial it says, 'the most suprising ending to a horror film you will ever see'....They werent kidding.

The last 20 minutes are just NUTS.

Hostel got me all fucked up. The shit that gets me going is when you see someone with a chainsaw or some shit heading for the vicitim and all you hear is the victim screaming. Instead of the director showing whats happening, he lets you imagine whats going on, which fucks me up bad.

I was high when I saw Turistas but I dont remember it being crucial as Hostel.

But yea man, after watching those movies, I'll think twice before I decide to go to one of those -vokia's

Just wait until you see Hostel 2.

It's so crazy I dont even know what to say.

I'd love to give some spoilers but I'd rather you see for yourself.

I know what I'm talking about. This is one nutsed out horror flick.

After leaving the theatre I waited for other people. I was the first one out. And I said "Is it just me or is that not the most whacked shit you have ever seen." And people were just grinning and saying "Yeah"

I really cant deal with shit that comes out now. I act like a lil girl when I see movies like SAW and shit. The whole 80 and 90s killing I can deal with but when fuckers are tied to shit and being tourtured...I cant handle it. I watch Saw with my hands over my face and my g/f watching to movie behind my arm

Just watched Saw III last night Rob, and it was pretty good. The way everything was tied together in the end was once again genius.

Going to watch Hostel tonight, I'll let you know my thoughts later.

Rob,

Watched Hostel and must say that I am not that impressed. Not a whole lot of action, but still some how was on the edge of my seat. Ending was sort of dull also. Will see Hostel II however.

Yes, exactly! Thats why I loved it. It's gripping and has a sick story line.

Hostel, I was kind of so-so on but couldnt take my eyes off it either.

You will like the second one better because it's girls instead ^_^

rob..as a fellow horror fan hostel 2 was too predictable imo. had a little twist in there and some tie ins to the 1st one but was still a good one. liked the 1st one better. but if i ever travel abroad i will definitely be careful with leaving my passport with the clerk lol.

Yea thats a great way to put it (Hostel). It was dragging at some points, but yet still couldn't take your eyes off it. It was kind of your typical horror film in the sense that they knew they were in danger from the start with with 2 friends disappearing, yet didn't seem to totally worry. Then even when the kid enters a new room at the hostel, the same thing occurs where there is 2 girls changing and say they are going to the spa, the same as when they checked in, but he really didnt find it totally wrong once again.

Saw III was another one for the ages, and I went to a few message boards and seen they are coming out with a Saw IV, V, and VI. That is my favorite horror triology/movie set I've ever seen.

I think certain parts were definatly predictable. But I dont think the last 15 minutes were though.

It's a good watch either way though, we can agree there.

Didn't watch Hostel II and haven't seen Saw III, but did see Hostel and Saw I&II. These just seem to be gory but not disturbing. For those horror buffs, I'm sure Audition and Irreversible (forgetting the brutality of the rape - the fire extinguisher scene is just amazing and shows the depth of that man's rage) are well known. But, for any others looking for a couple of movies that may disturb, give them a try.

lol Rob so many people are trying to play it off and say that Hostel 2 wasn't all that shocking... But that was some hardcore sh*t I thought. I liked the first one more, thought it was funnier and scarrier. As for Saw liked the first, didn't like the second, and the third one I thought was surprisingly decent compared to part 2.
