just got some fresh lunchmeat from a local Italian deli near me..... good..... just had a prosciutto, mortadell, sharp provolone sandwich on a really fresh roll...and a bowl of homemade italian wedding ball soup. wow..i could take a nap

Gotta lotta (lol) good Italian food stories from Pittsburgh to Morgantown, yep, ya heard me right, folks in the know know Morgantown has a healthy population, well beyond food, lol. My Dad was one picky hombre when it came to food, so when we bought subs, there were no other than Italian. He even had one of the Delis in Pittsburgh hook'em up with the proper sub construction, LOL. Sad thing is, I haven't lived near a good Italian Deli since I was a child.

Good thing about my hood is all the delis, pork stores, bakeries are within walking distance...I was on vacation, before that away on business and before that Super Bowl Sunday so haven't made a big pot of Sunday sauce in a month...
said to the wife yesterday I was going through pasta w/d....saving the calories for that but that sounds like a damn good lunch
