Anyone who has been around cappers long time such as me realizes that while there are flash-in-the-pan cappers who got hot

for a short period of time, which in turn gets some people to get orgasmic and fantasize that these guys will put them on the riches

beyond their wildest dreams, the TRUTH is that almost all of them lose over the long haul, and even more so when the cost of

service is factored in.

The REAL winning handicappers are the ones who have the most convincing marketing and advertising/bs no matter what their

actual record, so as to get people to fork over money to them on a consistent basis!!

Yep, hard enough to beat the juice without paying. Many have different names for plays so good chance one category has win streak while the others bury you. Don’t expect to make living at it unless you can win consistently and bet big $$ and big money is not 1k bets

In all fairness, I can understand what some folks believe because I went through the same thing back in the late 70's when sports services

first came into prominence and I was dumb and naive enough to believe that if I latched onto the right capper, it would only be a matter

of time before I could quit my job and live on East Street for the rest of my life.

A funny thing happened though between then and now to alter my thinking!

A lot of pick sellers have regular jobs, side income selling. Lot of sites use made up names for other cappers, post a pic and call the guy joe smith.every day joe doesn’t win long term.treat it as a hobby and bet within your means.

Here is some old threads of his
At some point I think someone even kept track. It has been a while
1) The link does not work
2) Most Service Touts on here suck, meaning .500 or much below .500
3) The occasional decent & consistent tout (like Rojas, or Cokin, or DeAngelo) are not posted often enough to measure, much less play the posted picks. If one does poorly, it is unlikely you will see their picks the next day. If they do well for a couple days (like Root's picks earlier this week), and then you jump on after some success, you will probably lose as they come back to Earth. Then, you come back on the next day and the picks are not posted, so there is no "bounce back" plays available. So best option is to look at the picks, consider them using your own handicapping methods, then look to see if there are others on the same game/side. Then just hope.

Yep-all 100% true.

Imo from what I have observed and read, Al Demarco/Rolli's site especially has quite a few made-up cappers whose plays

are put out from the real cappers at the site as a means to put out different sets of plays in the hopes that some will win

so that they can advertise that "capper's plays for the next day.

As I have said before, the Sean Michaels pictured at that site now is a far cry from the Sean Michaels years ago, who is in fact

Bradon Lang.

That is not opinion but 100% FACT!!!

It goes without saying that a good numbers of folks who call themselves cappers are in fact BIG TIME LOSER compulsive

gamblers who need to generate income by selling their picks in order to feed/fuel their gambling habit!!!

H&H has been great with C Unit plays...not today although there is still some hope with Finland Olympic Ice Hockey. Disappointing day as they usually split out at best on B Unit plays.

If you simply bet against ranked teams late in the season, especially Saturdays, you will win. Ranked teams 4-8 ATS today.

The business model is selling picks to compulsive gamblers. The method of selling the picks is through the writeup. The profit the handicappers make is not through winning for the pick buyers, it is through selling the pick and creating the illusion or the dream of winning. Do some handicappers work their ass off and grind daily, sure. But the gambler is the product. Buy picks, recurring revenue. Refer to Sportsbooks, affiliate marketing. Percentage of losses kicked back. You are their product.

I cringe every time i see POD,POW,One and Only Play of the Year etc, and the tout is on a road favorite. IMO ,Selectively playing Home dogs is the best hope for turning a profit. I watch for lower ranked teams, when playing at home, favored over higher ranked teams (ie. Arkansas -2 vs Tennessee yesterday). It’s certainly not infallible but a pretty solid angle to follow. The key to all wagering is selectivity if you want to grind out a profit. When I look a the ‘Service Play Forum’ I immediately pass over any capper giving out over 6-7 selections (ie. Ferringo….16 plays on Saturday) as they can’t possibly win. They are scammers and most likely giving out opposite sides under different service names and not to be trusted.
The fewer number of plays the better. I like cappers who give out a short write up about their reason for a selection.
Sports gambling is surely not a way to make a living but it is an enjoyable pasttime for those who desire a little excitement.

Good luck to all.
