Rotation #170
Rutgers +1.5 over Maryland
The winner of this gets bowl eligible. This game comes down to coaching. Greg Schiano is moving his team in the right direction. Mike Locksley has yet to do anything as a head coach. Maryland doesn’t have much talent and was hit hard with injury to a few key receivers. Rutgers might not be the best defensive team, but they have a ton of experience that consist of a lot of seniors that don’t want this to be their last game. Rutgers is a program on the rise and a bowl game in Greg Schiano’s second year back with the program will help with area recruits. Take Rutgers.

FSU +3 over Florida
Here we have another game where the winner locks up a bowl game. In my opinion this Florida team can’t wait to clean out their lockers. There will be transfers this offseason because of the coaching changes and this program will need a culture change. Florida State is a program on the rise with a Mike Norvell trying to get his team to a bowl game in his second season as coach. This team has a great defensive line that should get to the QB today. This game comes down to motivation and I just don’t see it on the side of the Gators. Take Florida State.

Rotation #187
LA Tech -3.5 over Rice
This is the bowl game for both teams as there will be no invites for either to the bowl season and this will be the last game of head coach of Skip Holtz. Holtz has been in the captains chair for the last decade and there is no doubt the motivation will be to send him out with one last win. The Bulldogs have a ton of talent and when you compare the rosters there is no question on who the better team and program is. Late in the year motivation and story lines are what this sport is all about. I don’t trust this Rice Defense and believe the Bulldogs will have an explosive outing. Take Louisiana Tech.

Rotation #223
Penn State -4 over Michigan State
Michigan State is banged up on offense and has the flu going around their players. This line shot up a few points overnight so it makes me think Kenneth Walker might not be 100% and might not play. Michigan State is down a lot of key receivers and will have to go against a good Penn State defense. I love what Michigan State did this year with bringing in key transfers to become instantly competitive, but you can’t out play injuries. PSU had a tough year and lost a few key games and really should have gotten more out of Sean Clifford this year, but they typically play well on the road and I believe they will get a big win to end the regular season today against a really banged up football team. Take Penn State.

Rotation #211
Oklahoma +4.5 over Oklahoma State
A couple of scenarios that could have both teams playing again for the title game are in play. Oklahoma State is already in next week. Oklahoma needs a win to continue their quest for a BIG 12 Title. Oklahoma State still wants to win for potential playoff seeding so they can’t really lose today and expect to have a shot in the college football championship. This is a must win for both teams so it’s going to be a heck of a game. With everything on the line I believe Oklahoma has the more talented offensive team and if they can get an early lead the Cowboys don’t really have the offense to make a big comeback. Caleb Williams can really put himself in the top tier of college football QB’s the next two weeks. Lincoln Riley should reach into his bag of offensive tricks and do just enough to grab the victory. Take Oklahoma.
