Rotation #142
49ers -9.5 over Seahawks
49ers/Seahawks Over 42.5
There is a formula for great teams in the playoffs. Run the ball well and stop the run. San Francisco is one of the league’s top at rushing the ball and one of the best in the NFL at stopping it. The weather in San Francisco is severe as of 10 AM EST, but it should be decent football weather by kickoff. Jimmy G won’t be the QB for the 49ers today, so that the spread might look too high to some. The 49ers are like Georgia in the College Football Title Game, as they are the much better team in the trenches. Geno Smith has been good for Seattle, and Kenneth Walker has breakaway speed. D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett are having a great season, and the Seahawks will put up points, but the 49ers will be better on both sides. Brock Purdy proved he could play at this level, and the running game is first-class. Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, and Brandon Aiyuk are impossible to stop, and the crowd should be electric today. Take the 49ers and the Over.

Rotation #144
Jaguars +2.5 over Chargers
The Jags have won 5 straight but are not getting the respect they deserve from Vegas, as they made them underdogs today. The Jags have a great running back in Travis Etienne, and Trevor Lawrence has found success in targets Christian Kirk, Zay Jones, and Evan Engram. The Chargers are a good team, but they can be one-dimensional at times, and that’s different from how you play winning football in the NFL Playoffs. Mike Williams has a back issue and is a massive loss for the Chargers. The Jaguars are playing great defense and should play well enough tonight to win the home playoff. Take the Jags.
