Neither could GWB except he was admitted under an Affirmative Action called the Legacy System which gives special preferences to children of Alumnis (his father and grandfather both attended Yale). GWB won't release his HS grades but they got a hold of his SAT score and it was nearly 200 points less than the median of his Yale classmates. I guess that would explain his C avg at Yale.

If you're an employer, do you look at a person's GPA from an Ivy League school or do you look at their diploma that says "graduated from Yale?"

The 2004 presidential election pitted two graduates of Yale against each other: John Kerry, who was seen as the intellectual, and George Bush, famously a C student. Well, it turns out that John Kerry's grades at Yale were nearly identical to those of President Bush.

To be clear, you would be admitted to Yale under 0 circumstances and Harvard Business School under 0 circumstances

Neither. I would hire based on their interviews and pre-employment test scores. Someone who only got into an Ivy league school thanks to nepotism doesn't impress me much.

SNL is lame. The Conan phone calls are way funnier.

Let's face it, you're not only one of the dumber people here, you're one of the dumber people on the Internet.

Both GW Bush and Trump have higher IQ's than you and attended educational institutions you could not get admitted to.

You talking about intelligence is like a baby shitting in a diaper.

Let be honest. You are standing at the pearly gates and God says I have a multiple choice question for you. You enter correctly you are in and if you get in wrong your out of here.

The question is did GW Bush get into Yale because:

A. His Intelligence
B. His family's wealth

If it is me I am going with B. Family wealth.

You could substitute a few thousand other rich kids....democrats or republicans for GW Bush or some other Ivy league school like John John Kennedy at Brown. They got in the old fashion way.....$$$$

If getting into an Ivy League school doesn't impress you, I wouldn't want to work for you anyway.

hire the yale or harvard grad with a C gpa every day of the week... why? that jackass would have gotten a b gpa at many other schools AND most importantly the connections and friends they will have.

gate and zuckerburg dropped out of ivy league schools but kept and hired their old college chums

What part of he couldn't get in on his own merit without daddy's help do you not understand?

I'd rather hire a straight "A" student from UC Berkeley than a straight "C" student from an Ivy league school anyways.

SNL needed Trump badly. This cast is horrendous and they cannot write a single bit that's worth a damn on their own. As long as they have Trump they can keep the lights on

usually 3 or 4 main players have good careers post-SNL...ain't happening with this group. completely devoid of talent

the next skit Michael Che creates or acts in will be his first. dude can't make a single joke without using the race card....then again that probably makes you huge in 2017 America. If there is a less innovative, ahemm, comedian in the world today please let me know. he is the worst of the garbage on that show

the last time i laughed at a SNL bit that didn't involve Trump was that "Twin Bed" song they did. Bryant was good in that.

The president always gets made fun of. I like the Trump jokes better than the Obama jokes. Bush & Bill made for some good jokes also.

I agree, the show was on a big downfall. It's Ironic that Trump as president is what has saved them.

How many great skits did Chris Rock write or appear in during his stint on SNL? Probably none as he was very forgettable. Yet he's become one of the greatest standups ever. And if you think great comedians write their own jokes think again, they often have a team of writers. Do you think great actors write their own movie scripts too?

It's quite ironic you accuse Che of using the race card... yet how do you think Trump became president?

Che will be the next breakout star either with his own talk show, sitcom or standup in the next few years (no one said it had to by 2017).

Are you serious?

dude was "the black guy" on every skit during his days! He created skits of Arsenio Hall, Nipsey Russell, Russell Simmons, the old grampa barbecue guy, the screaming Black Panther (The Dark Side...was on just about every week), and had at least as many appearances doing a character on Weekend Update as Leslie Jones does now.

how quickly we forget....

btw, not even going to ask your liberal what you mean by "how do you think trump became president"

also it appears you have zero clue how these SNL main players get chosen for skits. apparently you think it works like regular TV and movies where there's a team of writers that choose from a pool of actors and that the talent aren't responsible for pitching their own ideas and characters :) - good stuff

(FYI cast members routinely create their own characters and write their own scripts because 1) guarantees them air time 2) they get paid extra for any script that airs)

... enjoy Michael Che saying "he's a racist" for the next 20 years of super-stardom. It sounds like you are his ideal demographic

here's a little more irony........................i think he tweeted numerous times the 'failing New York Times' is going out of business. Have a close look post-early Nov--Thanks to him, a recent fresh 52-week high.................and a STUNNING 57% rise since Nov lows............

NYT (New York Times)

the 1 year daily

NYT is like....'please keep tweeting about us...................pretty please?'

Apparently you're the only one.... as Rolling Stones described his stint on SNL...

"Rock always had a hard time getting on the air — there was a classic In Living Color sketch about Rock getting thrown out by NBC security who refuse to believe he's a cast member. But make no mistake: Even back then, Rock was hungrier and faster than anyone else. Whenever he got a sketch (barely once a month, usually in the final 15 minutes)..... "

Yeah only thing memorable was the one where he got thrown out by NBC security and it wasn't even an SNL skit. LOL!

Yes I know some cast members write their own stuff but considering Rock was barely on I guess his skits weren't very good.

So Trump building a wall to keep the" bad hombres out" and banning Muslims from entering the US aren't race cards? Oh wait you probably think its Con speak for "Keeping it Realz" right? Because white Christians never commit any crimes.

Michael Che isn't racist. Trump is. The fact that you don't know this worries me.
