Everybody said Corum was key and I couldn't have agreed more. But he was key in a way never thought. Corum being hurt forced Michigan to practice the pass and use it. Meanwhile Buckeye defense and Knowles is consumed with stopping that damn run game. It was their goal all season, stop that Wolverine run game. Now McCarthy had a few brilliant passes, the first td pass to Johnson while being sacked stands out. Other than that Michigan receivers were so wide open it looked like Hawaii's D out there. Then it was like the Buc D doubled down in the 2nd half when Mich got a lead. Eleven players on the line of scrimmage on 1st down. Edward's breaks through and no one to tackle him, twice.
Buckeye offense only 3 second half points. As a Michigan fan I could not believe this!! Wolv D a sound D with little super stars, Bucs should have had their way. They did in the 1st half, what changes had them stifled in the 2nd? Gonna watch replys and see what happened.
I lost a few hundred on this game, back in August bet Bucs to go undefeated in Big10 @ +180. Could of hedged with Wolv ML just over +250 but never did due to Corum injury. Don't mind too much, gladly donate to see Michigan win again.
