Sharks (-230) over Anaheim Ducks
<o></o>
This is the fourth of six meetings between the rivals and the Sharks are 3-0 against the Ducks. All I can say here is that the Sharks have just about dominated the Ducks in each game. They can’t seem to solve the Sharks, who have found their great play once again. Joe Thornton is playing with great confidence, as well as Dany Heatley and Dan Boyle too. <st1:city w:st="on"><st1

<o></o>
Thus far, Philly has dominated the series against the Hurricanes with a power offense. They are 2-0 against the Canes this season and look to extend it to 3 as they have lost the last four games to the Flyers. The Hurricanes have been at the bottom of the standings all season long and does not look too promising when Philly comes to town. Newly acquired goalie Michael Leighton has been good in two performances going 1-0-0 with 46 saves and a 2.00 GAA. A good stat to look at would be the lack of power play presence for the Canes against Philly going 0 for 13. Look for a great night for the power play and penalty kill of the Flyers.

The Kings suffered a big setback as they were forced to bring up 4 rookies in the first part of December due to injuries. To their surprise, they went 7-2-1 in December. The Kings are getting stronger and healthier each day and as they come back from an 8 day rest, look for a strong showing by the team overall. The Kings will be glad to welcome back Jack Johnson, Brandon Segal, Wayne Simmonds, and Ryan Smyth, all who have missed some time over injuries. Smith has been a key figure in Kopitar’s scoring. The Coyotes have won the last eight home games, and their overall game has looked better due to the play of Scottie Upshall. It will be an interesting battle as both teams try to keep pace with the San Jose Sharks at the top of the Pacific Division. Look for a big night from the 1st line of the Kings with Kopitar centering Smyth and Williams.

Devils face the Capitals for first place in the East. The Devils are looking like the next Stanley Cup champion. They took care of business against the Penguins and will see how they do tonight against the Caps. The Devils are responsible for nearly one-fifth of the Caps defeats this year. With the play of Martin Brodeur being so overwhelming for teams, Alex Ovechkin will have his hands full tonight as he sees another big challenge. This will be a great matchup, but I can’t see <st1
