2 Star Play CANADIANS+125 vs. Islanders
Both teams are struggling in the NHL season thus far. Montreal has
had a five-game losing streak but dropping four of those by a hard
one goal slide. I feel that Montreal will find its offense again versus a
suffering Islanders team. The Canadians have not gone on a six-
game losing streak since February of 2007. Mike Cammalleri has
three goals in the past four career games against the Islanders and
Montreal is a dominant 9-0-2 in the past 11 meetings. Furthermore,
they have won four straight at Nassau Coliseum, scoring 17 goals.
Big night for the CANADIANS +125
2 Star Play PENS-110 vs. Sabres
Sabres have been on a long time struggle and it does not look good
with Penguins coming into town. Penguins are 12-5-0 in away
games and are on a four game winning streak going into a Buffalo
Sabres team looking for a spark in their offense. Sabres are coming
off a home game win last night (Friday); however, they played a low
talent, last place Toronto Maple Leaf team. Look for Crosby and the
power play to light up the Sabres team in this Eastern Conference
matchup. PENGUINS all the way -110
1 Star Play FLYERS -145 vs. Rangers
While these two teams have not been the greatest, this should be a
good matchup to put some money down on. Philly is in last place in
the Atlantic division, but fans did see some great improvement
versus the Penguins on Thursday. We should see a huge
improvement in Philadelphia’s offense as Mike Richards has scored
three goals in the past four home meetings against the Rangers.
The Rangers seem to be leaving out a lot of veterans from their
lineup, so look for Philly’s veterans to clean up on some rookies.
