Let me understand. We can't just post a huge favorite on the moneylime (like Ogata did above with the Pistons) and then get credit for it on our record if it wins, right? We have to pick ATS on here for record keeping purposes. You can post a moneyline but we can't mark it as a win on your overall record.

No, I add ML bets to the W/L record regardless of whether they are dogs or faves. I just don't keep track of the lines.

Half right, the $$$ amounts just assumed all bets regardless of whether they were moneyline or not were -110.

If ML bets become a problem and someone takes advantage of large ML bets to pad their record I can change it, but so far no one has done that and everyone has been reasonable with their picks.

By counting moneyline plays, it doesn't give us a good reflection of someone's picking skills. We shouldn't count moneyline plays when tracking record. It makes no sense to do that. Anyone can sit here and pick 12 point favorites on the ML every night and would hit at 80 or 90%. The whole purpose of the standings is to know who to follow or fade while picking ATS.

I love Ogata, but did you notice he took six favorites of 7 or more on the moneyline today? If that's not taking advantage, I don't know what is.

I agree, I just haven't seen anyone take advantage of it yet. The original purpose was just ATS and O/U but people started making player totals, half bets, etc... which I'm fine with. 98% of the bets made have been regular bets, 2% have been ML. No one on top of the leaderboard has done ML bets. If you go to the site and click on the bettor, you will see how many ML bets they've made.

I haven't looked at the picks yet but Ogata has made 102 picks without a single ML pick so it's interesting if that's the case today. I will make adjustments if ML bets get taken advantage of.
