You sure know yer shit at Mohawk--I have fond memories of that track--a guy i used to work for used to own a horse by the name of Fortunes Alibi in the .80's

He said the nag was live but had drawn the dreaded 8 hole. In those days the 8 hole on a 5/8 track was brutal.

Anyway--I put 50 bucks on him and watched him parked every friggin step and win by a nose. The horse paid $80 to win and I ran down to the winners circle to congratulate my boss and he looked like he had just seen a ghost.

'Whats wrong?' I asked

"I blew the triactor-I made nothing!!"

Cruel game.

Weird night as expected but it went well. The last two were the real finishers.

I left the house to go to the track (live racing) just before race 9 @ Mohawk. I got there with 1 min to post. I ran in to put another $50 on Supermatturel to win........was 5 secs too late. I watched the monitor and swore.
