After all the stupid decisions the NFL had made, this one is very far down on the list. The officiating had been worse than horrible for years now, any new person is a welcome change. If that means more scrutiny, then so be it, the officiating needs to be scrutinized.

NFL refs are so different. Most of us know the rules but all of us after a play really wonders about the outcome if you have a holding penalty, pass interference and an illegible lineman down the field. Not the best example but basketball, it is easy except for block/ charge. Baseball doesn't even need umps. Especially that many. How hard would it be to be a 3rd base umpire in baseball? LOL. Fair/ foul. Safe/ out. Thats it

How is this a publicity grab by her? She's been working games since the mid 90's. She doesn't call the media and say "interview me please."
