That's my whole suspicion, where do the incentives lie? My interpretation of the play is that the Heats won't benefit as much, hence the lack of effort. But again, I don't follow the sport thoroughly, so it's just an thought based on the play I see on TV

Are you really convinced that the entire sport is fixed? It just sounds like sour grapes to me.

The Spurs play great ball tho, so if they pull it off, I'm all for it

No "fix" whatsoever. But like any job, where are the incentives? These are the best of the best teams, so you can't have much of an advantage, the league isn't designed for it. I just think the Spurs are showing like they have more to play for in this game, which seems odd to me
