Yes , they have sportsbooks in Mexico, but not to be trusted. It's been brought up before. I can't recall the name, but would recognize it. Not worth it ! They have books in Nicauragu, even Panama.
That's why I question Roxy: She must be small bettor, otherwise would know what nickel, dime mean. Say you want to bet $100 on game, live right on USA side of border. How long would it take to cross, bet, re-cross. It's gotta be 2 hours minimum. I haven't been to Mexico since about 1987. Used to be no problem entering, they wave you thru driving into Mexico, Tougher returning.
Must be way harder now ! It's not a viable option to bet in TJ, even if you live in SD, is my point. Internet way easier.
