You mean I will have to have 100 posts to enter the Poker tournamant? I read many posts but do not have the time to respond in a meaningful way without all the regular getting push out of shape. And then having to take the time to read and respond to all.

I wish I knew this when I made my flight reservations about the 100 post limit.

In any event I will be at the Rx party. I did enjoy meeting all the posters at last year's Rx party.

Same here, I do not post frequently but I am a frequent visitor and reader. I think the 100 post requirement is a bit excessive.

I have to agree with veteran Rxers like Laup and billpapa, some posters simply lurk but have been here for quite a while. How about a registration date cut-off also? Example anyone registered prior to 1 January 2004 (or a later date) is eligible no matter how many posts and gets a bye for the 100 post minimum.

Nothing against either guy but they have a TOTAL of 28 posts between them in over a year. They take from the site but do not add anything.

Like I said don't take it personal but I have a very hard time giving either of you 5k instead of someone like Dante that posts here everyday.

Have to agree with Krackman on this one. I vividly remember Irish McPatrick's super dooper football contest, open only to posters with 1000+ posts. Really got me motivated to be more involved in the forum!!

Some might say that was a bad thing but the point is these folks could easily hit 100 posts just by whining about the fact they don't have 100 posts!

Krackman,

I can live by the rules that are set. I am not offended. I am very appreciative of what The Shrink has done to have an annual Rx Bash even without the Poker Tournament.

By the way Dante deserves 5K not becuase of the number of his posts but because he is such a nice guy in the way he conducts himself in the forum with his posts. However, some posters have nothing but an axe to grind and are rewarded for this without really adding much to the forum.

what about this.

you take the posters with most time and posts.

first

then with the spots left. draw names

when full your full.

have to agree on door prizes.

but this is a contest. and the prize for 1st is what a $k.

MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY THAT YOU CAN

everyone likes a contest

Laup..thanks for the kind words Sir..

.I see Kracks point but IMO I would think if your a long time poster , as in time here, maybe 1 yr or more with less then 100 posts the amount of posts should not matter....perhaps you can not post as much as others do to many circumstances...

I told my pal SuperSunday that he was not eligible and he understood 100%. Thought it was a nice idea to reward loyal posters.

Common sense I think

If one of my friends wins the tournament, i'm surely not gonna ask them to give me half. Are you smoking krack, man? Everyone should have a chance to win prizes. Everybody started out as a newbie at some point.
