If it doesn't matter who posts and everyone should just ignore, then that should be no problem. Now everyone will post "Vitterd sucks, omg why would you do that?"

Obviously some of your job is to filter out the bad posters over time. Vitterd fit that criteria, Guesser as well, probably another 500 people over the years. Some of us think GB fits that criteria. If you don't then it is fine, but I think the #'s will speak for themselves over time. Just my opinion.
There's only one issue and now many of your loyal posters who've contributed to the community for years and years are leaving. On a forum where honor and loyalty mean a lot to some guys, him being allowed to Welch here and rub JC's face in it are in direct conflict with their values and beliefs. You can't just ignore the problem like it doesn't exist.
Well GB's isn't breaking any Rules, He is Mostly Disliked because he posts a massive amount of Photo's ( I believe some times it's too much ) But these aren't against any rules.
Vittered and Guesser were problems, they were disruptive and was disrespectful with an agenda.
I guess GB can be strong headed, but I believe that's when you attack him ( not saying you ), talking in General ..

Plus there are plenty of guys on here that dislike each other. If you go Over the top, yeah you could get a vacation. But after a while you just ignore them.

want to talk about a bad bet? i made a bet with a former boss of mine a few years ago- philly vs dc who will win a championship first (of the 4 major sports). we thought we were 2 cursed cities even though the phillies had recently won but were losing everyone. loser of the bet has to get a belly button ring of the winners choice......im a dc fan and currently paying for that bet. i get to take it out when the nba finals or stanley cup are done. dont drink a gamble even if its not money.
If you think he only attacks people when prompted then we'll have to agree to disagree. That's obviously laughable to me and many others. His asperger like responses to many of us is a big reason we would like to see him banned. But if you think he shouldn't be banned for welching then that's your opinion, not much else to say on the matter.
And obviously someone like Vlad posting does cost the site posters, just because they don't announce when they are leaving doesn't mean that it doesn't. More bad posters = more good posters leave. It's not a hard concept.
As far as the poli forum goes, what do you mean nobody is saying I'm going to pack my bags? Traffic/posts in that part of the site is probably down 90%. Of course people are posting less when the content is bad. Just because they aren't announcing it doesn't mean it isn't happening, most people not gonna be that dramatic about it.
Unless the goal of your site is to lose posters and become a ghost town then banning someone like DaFinch is an absolute no brainer for business purposes.

Read this thread more than once now. Clearly if you make a bet in any capacity whether it be at a casino, online, or with a friend you MUST know who you are wagering with. Case in point you sign up for a low rated book and win. Then you ask for a payout. You wait weeks, months...eventually you get slow paid, or maybe not paid ever. Guess What? Bad move on your behalf for trusting the book to fulfill their end of the agreement. Same thing here..if you make a wager between someone either whom you know only via the RX and have never met in person(or anyone )..well the rule applies.
