Lets see, 1) Ken sells the site makes a bunch of money,
2) 1.5 year later decides to set up a competing site
3) take's with him some of our staff (head mod)
4) then continues to harass our other mods because he does not like their posts...............

I'm really glad Marty decided to post. This should help clear some of you guys up on these issues.

Don't under-estimate what he says above about improving the RX over the next 4-6 weeks. His post count may be low, but his desire to make the RX better than it has ever been before is not!

As most of RX posters are aware of Ken is banned. He just told me the complete story about his banning.
Ken admits having used profanity against one mod. The mod had asked Ken to work for eog two days prior to ken's banning. Ken turned him down.
The dispute, and the following use of profanity has nothing to do with the mod's request to be part of eog but with a comment the mod had made about a book.
My post is not meant to set this place on fire. I met Marty in person and like him. His post about Ken's banning is true but incomplete.

This site is as good as before, just not all the drama that went a long with it. I like to come her for info that the posters give out. There are people here who are only here to cause trouble behind there key board. I believe once football comes around this place will be as strong as ever. Those who do not like what is going on around here do not have to stay. I would say if you are unhappy go else were there are a lot of other forums out there. But to whine about it day after day really gets old for some of us.............

the second reason is also not good unless you have a noncompete on him
the third reason, if prohibited, could make u mad, but i don't understand banning over it.

So.....actually, banning those guys was 100% meaningless, because they can always come back, again, and again, and again, under different names and never get caught.
Now, since we've determined the banning was meaningless, all that leaves is dissenion and bad blood and the beginning of a huge war.
I TRULY think it would be best for you and Shrink to try to patch things up, I honestly do.....
If not, then he will be on here, you will be over there, it will go back and forth, and there's nothing either of you can do to keep the other off your forums if either of you really want to, as I explained well above.....
