Here's my guess.
Read weeks ago that one of those victim girls was driving a real fancy vehicle (kind of peculiar in that I've heard no mention of jobs those girls had) and was moving to Arizona (maybe it was going to Arizona) imminently. Also read that the mother of one of those victim girls had an arrest for drug dealing on her record. Could it be that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and that girl was a drug dealer? What goes on in Arizona these days with our open border? Yep. Lots of drugs coming in. Not much time for detection.
And we now know that Mr Suspected Killer was a heroin user.
Was he a customer of that girl in that "party house"? And had he been there to spec things out in that user capacity?

New details suggest the roommate was friends with killer and shared some drugs. She never gave him any play. So he was mad. Got used for some dope but never any booty! Roommate was jealous of other roommates. She used her girl power on the guy and said they can be like Malory n Mickey in natural born killers. She talked him in on it and the two of them with the help of Murphy took their frustration out in an attempt to commit the perfect crime.
