Can someone, anyone, please explain how I can select a moneyline -1.5 +130, clearly offered as an option, win the game and then be told the selection was invalid.
This is simply not right. Good people, in my experience, always try to "do what is right." Clearly, I selected a good line that was available to any contest participant.

the line in question was not a bad line but rather was available at many books.
the only reason this is being discussed is because the selection in the e-mail sent to The General and Journeyman was incorrectly posted by The General. Once this correction was brought to the attention of The General, the general recognized the error and corrected it.
it's hard to speculate what may have happened after that. bottom line is that every participant considered every line posted as being available every day. questions often arose as to why a line was unavailable but I know of no reference to lines actually listed being unavailable.
This would never have happened if the e-mail had not been misread. Consider if the plays had been listed correctly. It's not as if I went back and entered the play after the fact.
This contest was way too closely contested to be decided by anything other than the 40 selections of each participany.

p.s. is there something so wrong with my selection of the Atlanta Braves minus 1.5 runs ML +130 ??
really, if you ask The General he simply didn't see the Atlanta play. The rest evolved from there.
